  13. No I normally don't wear gloves wnen cleaning, but at the time I had something wrong with the skin on my fingers that made them crack open and bleed from the tips all the way down to the joints, so as I was aware of BBB's and BBV's (Blood Born Virus's and Bacteria) and having open wounds on my fingers, I decided I was better safe than sorry. The pictures are what I have taken over the past few years. Tony
  14. Speak to these guy's http://www.gunspares.co.uk/shopdisplaycategories.asp?id=24023&cat=Baikal They will probably find one for you Tony
  15. Very true (I was having a laugh with yah Matt) Bang on Matt, Tapeworm cyst it was indeed. It was very hard and rubbery Matt where as a normal liver would tear if pulled apart, this thing wouldn't, indeed it almost 'broke' when folded But you still wont eat a mixie rabbit will yah Even though it can't spread to humans. I've been going through some other of my 'autopsy' images that I've gathered up during my hunting, I think we should put together a photographic scrapbook of gammy livers, heres another that I thought could have been the initial stages of Live
  16. Anyone can do a google search and copy and paste from the results eh Matt Would you eat a bunny if you found these: Maybe the meat was fine, but would you risk snaffling it after finding that inside Tony
  17. Really? thats strange as compared to my HW silencer the X3 is much quieter Each to their own ATB Adam Funnily enough Adam, my friend wound up using a bog standard AA silencer on his 100 Go figure!
  18. I've noticed that a lot of guns seem to like different silencers for some reason, a friend of mine got a HW100 and for some weird reason the Twink MKII didn't sound as quiet, as we would have liked it, but put it on his other rifle he was pleased as punch I've heard the X3 on three different guns now and I'm impressed with what I've not heard from it.
  19. Okay, so if the "White Spots" were Liver Fluke, the meat is safe to eat, I still wouldn't want to eat it, because it would take a microscope to ID the fluke, but what if it wasn't the Liver Fluke and as I said earlier there are many causes of spotting on a liver of an animal. Tony
  20. Hiya Matt, I would want to know what kind of worm it was first. The freezing or cooking may or may not destroy the parasite though. Bit like you won't eat mixy meat, I won't eat a worm (assuming thats what it was) infested animal. In commercial abbatoirs, the first thing the inspector does is check the lobes of the liver for signs of illness or diseases, if he/she finds anything wrong with it, the animal is rejected as unfit for human consumption. Tony
  21. Again, could be a number of things either interwound with the liver spots or totally seperate condition. Flukes can also inhabbit the lungs (Lungworm) but like I say we can guess till it comes out of our ears, but unless there is some thing distinct that Identifies it, we would have to have a biopsy and histology done to confirm it under a microscope. Tony
  22. Nice work Gent's, I had my lamp die on me the other night As for the bad luck, I've managed to crack the 'Curse of Joss' (my mate who comes out with me sometimes.) Every time he comes out on a shoot with me I blank! Cracked a nice high woody in a strong wind Again well done lads Tony
  23. A pic would have been more useful as white spots can be indicative of various things If it was a liver fluke then you really don't wanna eat it, as a genuine fluke is a parasitic worm that can inhabbit all mamals, including humans and ultimately cause pain and even lead to Cancer. I've come across many varying livers, including one that was almost green with yellow and a few pink spots it had a hard rubbery texture. Tony
  24. The Beeman is the American name of the HW40PCA. Although Made in China I've shot them and they are pretty sweet. I know a lot of people who use them As for the Typhoon if anyone can hit a barn roof while sitting on said roof with gun pointing downwards, it will be a first! I've shot one out the box and one that had 'allegedly' been worked on. Won't even pick one up now to try. Out of the two there really is no contest Andy Tony
