Usually 10 for day (but finding I'm using 12 more often for zero checking) but night time 5 or 6. When I've been ratting close up (pig farm) I go as wide as the scope will let me and zero for optimal trajectory so no need for hold over/under.

hi ideation all you have to do is turn up at the meet and i will stick one on you Cheers mate, but it was a joke, r.e. the earlier boy scouts of THL thing I think Davy was going for the HLS there Ideation He got me one evening after I sent him an Irish joke. I actually thought for an hour that I'd offended him! I Couldn't make up my mind if he was going for the HLS or he was just playing. I was halfway through sending an appology when he sent the HLS closure! The git got me big time with it!!!! And I got your joke immediately as I'm sure Davy did as well

It was just a leaky pistol when I got; Hence it cost me a tenner I got a couple of 'job lot' bits including the multishot breech and clip, three bolts, stock, laser, scope mounts, the forgrip and seals for a pittance and I've also got a standard stock in cammo. I've also got a Terry Robb extended breech and probe etc... Tony

Hey up Chaz Remember that piece of scrap that I bought for a tenner at the meet? Well on the first bulb of Co2 it went from 4 to 0 ft/lbs in 17 shots and had gas venting on my hand with every shot! A few hours work, a bit of TLC, few more quid spent and a polish inside, turning the seal's around and I now have this: "The Black Rat" Multi shot It's running at a reasonably consistant 5.75 ft/lbs with RWS Superdomes. Tried both heavier (Bisley Magnums) and Lighter (RWS Hobby) pellets and they all bring about a reduction in ft/lbs. As it has a

We got all that up here Roger, but all the Telecoms infrastructure is owned and operated by KC and it used to be the very best in the country (half owned by Hull Ciyt Council). Council sold it's share and then the company went public, so instead of paying 5pence per call no matter how long the call was and only paying 60£ a year line and phone rental, the company is only interested in profit now and charge way more than the other companies. Because they own the infrastructure, other companies like BT, Sky, Virgin etc... wont offer their services out here because KC charges them more to use the

Is that the 'shit-the insides out' method? After almost two days of almost decent performance by my ISP, it's gone back to usual so vids on line are out for me again Tony

Hey guy's, Just mentioned this to Joey, he say's he's up for too Maybe he'll bring Chris as well? Woodworm can't make this one unfortunately and I'm just about to mention it to Lisa to see if she's up for it Tony -
Pass  I don't know, the only thing I wan't altering on mine is the trigger, it's a pressed steel thing, I'd like one of Charlie da tuner's GRT's. The XS's are the newer models, much better workmanship, finished off better and so far much more accurate and reliable than the older models that gave the Chinese such a bad reputation. Tony

Headshots Not Killing
Phantom replied to DeepEarth's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
I try not to shoot kit's in the brain any more. It's distressing to see them flapping about for ages The brain is also very maliable and almost like a gel, it tends to just hang out of the hole, even though it's well and truely dead, the CNS of a kit seems to take forever to shut down! They also seem to reach unnatural height when they flap about! I've seen them reach over a meter in the air sideways! Now I generally go for heart and lung shots on the kits, they may run a couple of feet or just roll over, but the CNS seems to shut down much quicker with a heart/lung shot thus no flapping -
Mines perfectly okay (when I can be bothered to shoot it that is). Tony

A evening and night shooting with the NS200 and Malc Barnard
Phantom replied to zini's topic in Airgun Hunting
Sweet Sounds like you guy's had a ball I misjudged a range last Friday, Pellet fell low but severed it's spinal column in the neck so was still a swift (if not clean) kill. Hay Adam..... a new piece of film for you to listen to  Tony -
hey all new here just wanted to say hi to all
Phantom replied to bullseye123's topic in Airgun Hunting
Welcome aboard. The S200 is a superb lil gun Exceptionately accurate and is a true 'little' heavy hitter Tony -
All the bucks I've shot (rather a lot!) have had almost hairless knackers. Yes ALMOST being the norm (well very short fur) but the one above is totally bald, maybe not reached puberty yet  or it went for a Brazillian wax?

Suppose just like humans or any other species, they are susceptible to birth defects and deformaties. Tony

A&N Custom Cylinder's Karbine
Phantom replied to Probuk's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Who's A&N Marty? Never heard of them I know a few people on here use A&M ones Tony -
Looking at the size and shape, I'd have to say it looks like one of it's nuts. But it is strange that it has no fur on it maybe it's been getting so much action the friction's rubbed it off Tony

Try these guy's http://www.gunspares.co.uk/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=24488&cat=Innova Tony

Many members of the UBC have them Andy, so far only one person has had any trouble with it and that was a seal popped. Knowing your skills as a smith, should that happen, it won't be a problem for you at all. The accuracy on paper at 10m is superb, I've had many 5 and 10 shot 1 hole groups with the 40 and others have said same about the Beeman version Glad to have been of help Enjoy.... Tony

Love you too Craig I get the impression that you may look youthful to him as well Tony

I was thinking of asking one of the mods or admin to change his name to Forrest Grumpy  But he did make such a nice compliment about my youthfull looks so I've forgiven him Tony
