The Kangals are amazingly agile and quick for their size, they put the big Mastiff types to shame. To shame in what aspect. How quick does a guard dog need to be.A man isn't going to outrun the slowest of mastiffs.

The few that I've witnessed have been like most mastiff breeds that I've had experience with in that they are more defense driven so as long as your not giving them anything to be defensive about they are on the whole reasonably laid back.Wheras decent Rottys are known for being very dominant.

spot on Ken, my mate got a bitch pup, it was from a breeder in London , there going for £ 16-1800 quid . very loyal dogs his bitch is 12 months old 110lb like a feckin tank, the dogs can go up 14st . there are like in my mind big bullmastiffs , and like all big heavy breeds rotties, bullmastiffs , etc they (all) suffer with HD and other limb/joint probs , it was one of the reasons back in the 80s when I had bullmastiffs , that I came out of the breed , was fed up of being down the vets with one thing or other , and a nother thing a lot of the big breeds are not long lived 8-9 yea

  11. Whenever I'm in the east end visiting family or pals brick lane is always my first port of call for a couple of salt beef beagles.Last stop off is always Chan's Chinese in Upton Park for a takeaway before I head home.
  12. You wanna get a sparky to put you a few proper double sockets in there before you end up with no shed.
  13. Sounds fair enough.Even if only one shock was knackered you should always change them in pairs and then I'm guessing that it could take upto a couple of hours to change them.
  14. why did you use them a second time after already nearly loosing a dog.If they've failed once and you've chosen to use them again the second incident is down to you not strong stuff.
  15. Why do you feel the need to take your lurchers to a hunt meet? to show thw mounted packs that they are getting support from all those who hunt, likewise hopefully shows them that were better off sticking as one not only that but if they see you and a well behaved dog regular they turn a blind eye if your off the footpath.lol of course they do.Terriers and lurcher were a massive part of my life for many years and I used to occasion go out and follow the local hunt but never felt the need to drag my dogs along especially not on boxing day.

was it a ginger haired fella over Canning Town way with a couple of chocolate ones.My pal over there has a couple and although they're good for them they're still not all that.Very Scatter brained and although they would get into someone in prey drive I don't know why he ducks about with them as he has much better dogs.
