  3. If I find a book that I'm interested in I can read it cover to cover in a couple of evenings but if I try a book just because someone's told me to try it but I'm not really interested I'll struggle to remember what I read 2 pages back.

Now that must of been a real fluke as the quality of American bulldogs in the UK in the last 15yrs has gone from bad to worse and when was the last time anyone saw a great dance with decent conformation.

Why not go for a Presa Canario? What Bandog would you want?I might consider a presa if the right litter came up at the right time TBH but I just prefer bandogs personally, never owned a bad one and I seem to click well with their temperament. As for what type well as I said ideally I'd like one with a good bit of neapolitan in it's make up but the quality of the sire and dam themselves will always be more important than the individual breeds in their make up to me. Why not go down the Swinford route and use English Mastiff?Good quality neos are not the easiest of things to find.Good quality E

But doesn't that go for all breeds Yep. Thing is people limit the chance of getting a good dog to suit their needs just because of breed blindness. They set their hearts on one particular breed and sometimes miss out on better dogs and sometimes nearer home. What Mastiffs have you got DS? I love Mastiffs but they don't suit my situation at the mo, but I will have another one or two in the future. I've got an adult female here that's 3/4neo 1/8corso 1/8something else and I've got a female pup that's 1/2neo 1/4 bordeaux 1/4 something else.Normally I wouldn't be keen on bordeaux blood

They've been peddled to f**k over here in the Last few years.Seen a couple of OK ones.Had a couple come to our training club that were nice enough but a bit flat and seen some complete shockers.Ok if you've got a big old yard for them and don't mind brushing dogs 3 times a week.I wouldn't fancy one of the big stinky hairy things around me though.

The Kangals are amazingly agile and quick for their size, they put the big Mastiff types to shame. To shame in what aspect. How quick does a guard dog need to be.A man isn't going to outrun the slowest of mastiffs. In all-round athletic ability and mouth.Have you had much personal experience with kangals or working bred mastiffs Seen it with my own eyes, have you? plenty of experience with working mastiff. Once or twice a week most weeks including my own but never had a lot of interest in the kanga lass I've always thought they are just another next best thing which if they take off over here wi
