  1. I am sorry then me personally have never called the man never will but in my apinion his dogs are not what I want and if people are calling him a peddler for what ever the reason if he is its down to Brian his self nobody else and that's a fact ain't itCome on then what's your experience with his dogs that leads you to your conclusion?been out with a good few seen them fail put other dogs in after and dug quarry is that clear anough for you not once or twice plenty of times with different dogs so what have you got that differentDirectly off Brian? How long ago?why are you asking questions all.
  2. There's a difference between having a litter to produce a pup or two for yourself and selling the extra pups and producing multiple litters for profit.
  3. Yeah and then he will breed of it or from it and so fort and more shite on the merry go round,Lee dont be mislead by the big names in the terrier world, there is much better in lads back yards that no one knows or heard of.Brian has bred some good terriers but anyone with half a brain would have to agree with the amount of pups he has bred he is bound to breed a few workers along the line at some stage, you could put 2 non-workers together and they could throw a couple of workers but the % of non workers or failures he has bred out-weighs the workers by a long shot, again not knocking the man,his
  4. this yank would rather have a pat then a pitterpatNobody over here keeps pitterpats as you call them over here.Thats something that's been invented and named in the good old US OF A because the Patterdales that the peddlers sent out there with their fake pedigrees art good enough. no thats not trueThe ghetto wanted a bigger pat but smaller them the bulls so they could sell them. And the reason i calll some of your dogs pitterpats is because alot of them.dont even look spannabl. To have dogs that size yor foxs must be ALOT BIGGER THEN OURS. All the pics i see of the old timmers dogs must be fak

  7. No, I've heard he sometimes buys stuff in from his own line and such. Of course if you hear that a dog down from you is dynamite then it would be good practice to use it as a stud...Not always from his breeding but the pedigrees claim they are when they leave his place and that's a fact.If there dogs off his line what's the problem? I know of one bloke local to me who he used to buy them in off.like I said not always his breeding and then puts fake pedigrees on them If they're down from his own dogs what's the big deal? Keeping in touch with lads who are out digging week-in week-out and asking

  10. Nothing close to the quality of them made in the UK. If you wanted anything to match the quality of them you'd have to pay mega money and import something like a chandler from the states
  11. The original title was pure nuttal dogs but the fact of the matter is the man will buy in litters and sell them on as his own and even keep stuff from these litters and breed them into his own stock so how does anybody know if they have a pure nuttal dog.
  12. what would be a better end hole dog that a gamey staff?I've always said that's no great shakes.Over the years I've seen everything from big terriers to non bull blooded lurcher and even a springer spaniel do that pointless and completely unnecessary task.
  13. If anyone has the working terrier yearbook 1981there is a Q and A with Brian in the back and a picture of 2 of his terriers. This is how I remember the first black terriers I saw back in the 80s and remember the older lads telling me they were Nuttals.
  14. All I can say is the black stuff that drew me to wanting Patterdale back in the 80s which I was told were Nuttal bred were a completely different looking and size of animal to what he keeps today.
  15. Thing is mate when you've met a lot of these blokes that write the books and in the magazines every month you get to realise that most of its a load of old bollocks anyway.
  16. lol I think you and I both know where the recent chocolate colour comes from???
  17. I wouldn't use anything but strong stuff gear.Stiill got a couple of the first collars he ever made and they are still perfectly usable.
  18. f**k them.Worst night of my life was on one of them little c**ts.
  19. Nice pups mate.Dog looks like a typical scimitar offspring.
  20. If you are going to do a soakaway I would advise fitting a removable micro fine gauze filter that can be took out and cleaned out as I've seen loads of soakaway eventually clog up with hair. Its no fun digging up a soakaway to clear any blockages.

  22. .I don't know why he bothered with them to be honest Money ?? The fella definately wasn't in dogs for the money.I think I gave him 30quid and 40quid for my first 2 blacks and he jabbed them up for me.
  23. Amd on top of being shit they were also twats for fighting and would bash the smallest of pups for no reason.I don't know why he bothered with them to be honest when he had some very good black terriers.Even as a young lad still at school he couldn't give me one for free.
  24. I've seen a couple of the mills made by HPRs pal and they are without doubt the best mills available in the UK.
