  1. If I was after one, I'd prefer the deerhound cross as the sire. More to offer than the greyhound IMO. Coat, stamina, nose maybe. Good luck with them anyway.
  2. If your clever how you word it....and put a few pictures up of the sire and dam.... You could get a free sales pitch out of this topic lol
  3. Mine do naff all during the summer. Two half hour walks on the beech and a splash around does them. The rest of the time just laying in the sun. That way they are 100% ready to rock n roll come September.
  4. I know of a few coursing dogs that have had toes removed and still run ok. It amazes me how many injurys greyhound get, concidering they run on sand for about 40 seconds once a week!
  5. To be fair, you've already asked 2 experts. There is no point listening to someone off here who you probally don't even know. If they are genuine greyhound vets and trainers then they will know what there talking about.
  6. There is some in this months EDRD. Breed purposely for hunting the fell.
  7. I used drakey once and thought he was a waste of time. Never used him since. I use a guy in Doncaster called Dave. Much better IMO and if you need a vet then Richard tor is very good. People travel for hours to use him.
  8. It's good to see a boxer who can bang with both hands!! Should be a good scrap
  9. It's not really keeping the dogs warm though if its set at -2. I have a stat on my heating but its set around 10 degrees.
  10. The difference between the 14ah and the 22ah is how long it will last. It has no effect on the brightness. Your mate must have had a faulty battery if it wasn't as bright. It carnt have been kicking out 12 volts.
  11. How do you mean it gets stuck?? Or do you mean it won't come back?
  12. It's only the cost that's different. They are the weight and size, so if I had a choice I'd go for 22 amp hour.
  13. Kennel jackets are great for running dogs, as they don't carry much fat. Try putting your hand under the coat when your dog is wearing it and feel how warm it feels.
  14. It's fine what your doing mate, as the alternative is leaving it outside all the time, and then it will be missing out on bonding with you ant the kids. So long as its kennel is warm and dry, then no probs.
  15. Just another reason why I'm a massive UFC fan! No bum fighters in this organisation and no fighter dodging each other either, like mayweather and PAC man. Come on lads, subscribe to ESPN and change to the dark side! You know you want too! Lol
  16. We're going in January on the euro star. Much quicker than flying and cheaper too. Depending on your budget, the pink palace is the best place to stay as it at the entrance to both parks and you can see the characters without queing up. If its the first time you've been, both kids will enjoy it, but its geared more towards the 2 year old than the 15 year old. Great place though.
  17. It must be his pad, not a stopper if it is its back leg.
  18. It might take more than a day, as there is a limit to how high they can build in one day, as the weight of the bricks pushes out the wet cement at the bottom. Again get a builder to give you a price. Good luck with your project mate.
  19. You take an 8 month old working spaniel out and it's nose dosnt leave the floor.
  20. I use two types. Recharge which you mix with water. I take this when I go out in a small bottle with a sports cap. Just squirt a bit in the corner of there mouth after each run. I also use a powder which you sprinkle on there food each night. It's an electrolyte powder.
