    It won't be long before hare coursing is viewed the same as badger digger. We can still remember when it was legal, but in another 10/20 years it will be no different to how people see badger digging. It's a shame but the kids of today might as well get a gun dog insted of a lurcher as its just too much hassle for them.

    There is a fox like that near me on some land I shoot on. I've seen it 2 or 3 times now and if anything I'd say if might even be a bit darker.

    I'm half way through the book now. There are some different views on bringing a dog on, for example one guy is running hares at 8 months while another is waiting till the dogs nearly 2. They all have one thing in common though, and that there all ruthless b*****ds. Not many keep a dog till old age and one guy even bred an 18 month old bitch and sold a bitch in pup. Good book though.

    Don't take her till she is out of season, otherwise she could get caught again. She will then be given 2 jabs, 3 days apart. It can be done upto 42 days, but the sooner the better for the sake of the bitch.

    My dog has just had a chip removed from his hock yesterday. Even though its only small the hock is a very complex joint and even very minor injurys can effect the dogs running ability. I hoping for the best but only time will tell. Even the vet is unsure as to how well he will recover as they don't treat many injuries like this, as most get retired to pet homes or put to sleep. Not many folk are willing to rest a dog for a full season when they only have 3 or 4 seasons at peak performance anyway. Plus it's pretty tiring resting a injuries dog.     It's a hard game mate. I just had my dog operated on yesterday. He will be out all season but hopefully will be ok for next season. But to miss a whole season on a 2 year old dog is massive. I can see why some people have them pts. It's even harder if its your only dog as well.

    I get what your saying, but degale should be a big name.. He's British and he's had a few fights. IMO there are not enough big title fights in boxing to generate up enough interest. I mean who the hell is hattons next fight. I've never heard of the guy... And why has mayweather and PAC man not fought. In the UFC that fight would have happened long ago.

    Mma all the way for me. I think boxing has had it's prime time with the Benn and Eubanks and such like. I'm not saying that modern boxers are not as good, I'm saying that no one cares anymore. Look at James degale. He won the gold medal yet no one outside of boxing as heard of him. On the other hand I was speaking to a couple of non fight fans the other day and they all heard of rampage and aderson silva.
