You're best off knocking them on the head mate. I would be extrordinarily surprised if the birds would feed them as the sparrows gape is completely different to finches. They need a high protein, insect rich, diet. The best thing you could do is hand rear them using dog food/baked beans etc. I've reared a good few. Good luck, they're gonna need it.

I can't believe no one has mentioned savings..... You'll be in a much better position if you have enough in the bank to survive a year without work, 'cos you'll probably be struggling to cover the mortgage and bills for the first couple of years. -

We might as well hear the truth, Tomo sent me in one direction which happened to be a hillside the scale of Mount Killamanjiro while he waddled around some nice, flat lowland meadows. Even on a zero gradient I've never seen a man sweat as much! :laugh: ......but it was a good night, well worth going for 69 bunnies with two dogs......

Come on lads.....even though the auction has started if you've got anything then get it up. This effects EVERYONE with terriers, it's important for terrier lads to do their bit....

I have the astro 320. You won't break the collar, it's a top-class bit of kit. Find the dog anywhere. Don't buy a second hand one, buy a brand new one from the states....mail a few people on ebay and see what deals they can do you. I rate mine very highly indeed.
