Hi Goldfinch, would you mind me asking the name of this bitch. Thanks.
-
It looks very popular to me...

I'm not wanting to get into an argument, or anything, but are you saying you bred off bitches would come out? jackers?spewers? curs? Why would you want to do such a thing when you had many proper earth dogs? Why not breed off your proper earth dogs instead? I can't understand that bit. Sorry if I'm being a bit thick? You neednt apologise for being a bit thick, among educated people i would imagine its well known, your sly insecure manner and backstabbing nastiness is proof of that, you have done nothing for fieldsports other than help the antis with your pathetic comic books, you are a

Because the dog game is full of messers. People who see a dog as disposable, people who can't be bothered to invest time into getting the best from a dog. Just pass it on, get some coin back and go buy another. The most loyal thing in the world is a dog, it's a shame they can't say the same for us. Poor, poor dogs. :sorry:

Well, it's not being passed about, sold on to divi's or bred from. thats a good thing, why not tell the story of viper then? Why don't you tell it, you bred it. Tell of it's journey and how many times it was passed on? I would be very interested.

What about this dog....does anyone recognise this?
-
Aye, plenty of wildfood will bring em into condition....
-
Very few. Can only think of two.

They have to be singley kept, in the dark. Using partitions to keep them seperate. Sliding doors to get them in and a sliding door to get them out.
-
They are easy to transport. If you make the correct boxes.
-
Aye, it's almost as bad as killing tame park deer and getting all lurcher owners a bad name.....

I can't see why using a heat lamp is so funny ........ It's been the mildest winter I can ever mind. If you need a heat lamp for your dogs this winter, what you gonna do on the real cold nights? I've got a heater but its to stop the water from freezing more than it is to heat the dogs. What do you do if your ferreting and they start shivering, give them your coat Well, that is strange........The plot thickens. -
Under no circumstances use food as a 'reward' for retrieving. All that will happen is that the dog will stop retrieving, drop whatever it's carrying and just come for the food. This isn't a retrieve issue, it's a dog hunting up issue. The dog has to realize that there will be no more lamping until he is back on the slip. Once he realizes that then the rest is plain sailing.

Don't use an electric collar on saluki crosses. They are not needed IMO. Just get the dog listening to you. Next season you'll hit the floor running.

I've seen this , but only the once. A very neat round hole eaten into the dead mole at the base of it's neck and into the body cavity. Weird.

Millet, put those potted conifers on a couple of breeze blocks to raise them up a foot or two. They might nest in them then.

I wasn't impressed with my barrio floater on my trout gear. It flew nice and straight with zero memory, but there was just one problem... it didn't float!
