    Jobs

on the money Gnash, even though there lot of immigrant's etc in the NHS , that do good job , infact my last GP was a Pakistan , and he was brill doctor , but i know what you mean mate, were loosing our own identity as a English man , and it boils my piss, when the fookers carnt speak English , more so when they young person .?
  2. seen few nice 2nd gen 1xs over the years, not over heavy, when you got base blood both sides with the grey , you can really never really tell, what gene will throw the strongest. But the pit always seems to be dominant gene , even at a 1/4 .!
  3. cracker that charts, real nice pic mate, and got same type of breeding again , think i you said with the pup , she keep you busy, and young again bit of luck lol , mind you we get to our ages , it all feckin down hill lol mine a old gang, bryn 14 sep, Buck 9 next month, little woody think he 11 , and me 95 haha
  4. Norm, don't see many, but found this in the grass while mooching on my 1st dog walk. Norm owls and foxes take them. But I've read when there left like this, it could have been a cat, because they release a gland, that gives vile smell to cats and dogs? Seen couple 1/2grown foxes up the track playing yesterday about 8.30pm, had Buck on the lead good job lol. Was bloke and woman and 2 kids coming down not far from the track, this time of the year you bump into lots walkers and dog walkers, best not to upset them, don't need the crap they give you.!!

  6. and this is the big thing as well, internet or not, the hunting ban with dogs changed the hunting scene 100%, it will never come back, like these forums gone or ever. so just log on spin few rabbits over, or what you might bump into out with your dog or dogs, just enjoy what great dogs lurchers big or small what ever the x , chill folks , as you never know what round the corner, try and stay safe young, and old like me lol
  7. crackers them, how they bred , and size they might make .?
  8. the topic on the lurcher sec pat/whippet , they are brill for ratting , there vid about them , there about 20in and racy build ,lthey catch loads of rats in barns , rubbish tips etc , real nice little dogs , great little bushing dogs, if i was really into little dogs, as these seem hard to get/find i prob try breed my own .
  9. cracking litter of them, what they selling for mate ?
  10. Well, I say Buck, my 1x gsd xgrey. I did have a lurcherx lurcher bitch in the 80s, who catch hares in the day and few foxes and rabbits in the lamp, she got injured at 4 year old, and put her down, shame nice bitch. Bryn my 1x coolie x grey my best ferret dog I've ever had, good in the lamp on rabbits, but only a rabbit dog really. Now big Buck been good on rabbits, better than old Bryn, Buck will take other quarry if need be, was fast for his size, good stamina, not a day time hare dog, but as most of my hunting was lamping anyway, that suited me, but he great in woods in the day, finding the
  11. Well done Eddie, the old hedgehog the gardeners fiend 100% they kill slugs and snails that wreak your green stuff. Funny thing last night, I took the dogs over the fields by me, the wheat about 2ft, old Bryn was walking by me, Buck just went of, then I heard him barking at somthing, thought it not a fox, as bring them back to me in the past, thought can't be a badger, as this was right in the middle of the field, and wouldn't have stayed there, them things try get coveror a earth, though what fook he barking at lol.?. Went over to him and he looking at the floor. Couldn't see nothing at 1
  12. Fare point Paul, it getting plenty of rabbits in front of your dog, that make them good rabbit dog in the lamp. Only going from 2 dogs experience I've got now, and other lurchers I've messed about, I say on average most dogs with collie in them, seem to do well at the rabbit game. My old 1x collie xgrey Bryn, been my best daytime dog that mooching and ferreting he was brill at them and good in the lamp, had plenty of 30s in a night. But being honest my big 1x gsd xgrey Buck been great in the lamp on rabbits, best bag 38, and had plenty of 20s a night, which I think no mean feat for a 28in 8
  13. like i said on this thread before, forget this covid 19, and new virus for a second , the wearing of masks is very good thing . just look at all the other germs we get from other people in a year , the ( flu, summer colds etc ) all transmitted by all you feckin lovley human beings , send your child to school, they come back with all maner of germs, feeling ill, and have to time off school . i really think going on public transport, planes ,etc any where people meet up and mix, masks should be worn deff , even in 5 years time if all these virus are under control , let try and stop the spr
  14. same here , dont drink so not gone in any pubs etc for a pint or meal . But being honest i might keep wearing my mask , even after july 19th or when ever it is, lets face most germs we pick up of people summer / winter all come from other people = colds in the summer , flu in the winter, no feck it i keep my on if i have to mingle to other people i dont know in side buildings , and i reckon it hold fare few germs back, not having people breathing all over you . and i think like whats been said last week By Pro chris Whitty these vrius are here to stay now, and society got to learn to
  15. nice young dog, and with its breeding have plenty of guts , yeh you right Davey not like my football team, but makes no difference if they beat the jocks your team, as next round if we go through , France will knock them out of the comp , sad but true .
  16. where you got him from ? , your dogs must be 100% with stuff then , i could trust my big dog with it, he might not do nothing with me there, but out of site from me prob be different , but its how he been brought up all his quarry on the menu lol , my mate brought up a munjack fawn , and his dog sound with it , but will take munjack if it sees them , so know it works , but not my feckin dog lol
  17. you knock a farmer out of bed 3.30am your going to loose any permission you got or going to have , save it till next day police or no police.???
  18. thats true , how you hunt where your dogs are good distance away, there got to be 100% deff, ive had Buck in the next field from me that near 2 fields away come back through sheep when lamping, when he was younger . if i ever get another lurcher pup i do the same keep showing the stock , never hurts to refresh them even when older i reckon .
  19. though the lurchers are sound with sheep, I always like to let them chill with them every other month, they both been round stock since they were 9 weeks old, Buck brill, I've had lambs before follow him around lol, and yet flick of switch in his head he full on to his quarry, few years ago he went flat out after a fox, that was hanging about watching the young lambs, that's how you want any lurchers, old Bryn the same, but not little woody, carnt trust him with any stock, he twat with horses never feckin sheep lol, he was rescue dog before my son had him then me, we think he about 11, h
  20. Well, like been said alot of dogs soon think twice about old Charlie, once he clamped on to there face few times, big and small, what ever the x. Don't know about beddyx whippet, but I do know few pure none ped racing whippets, that pile into foxes no prob, these were males down the track 22 in 33lb very game little dogs. But as been said on here there far better type xs out there to use, maybe say beddy x whippet x pit grey x whippet, or a beddy 1x grey be my choise if wanted beddy in the mix, but a bigger dog alot better for the, big dog like mine would finish it quick if need be,
