  1. , funny thing though , i should think like me bloody pension you have to inform them, or it dont get paid well that what me and me wife have found out . me heads clear now from last night lol, so i will take them 2 out , Buck been standing out in his run waiting to go out, old Bryn just stays in his kennel been raining again .

  4. just go for a pup / dog from proven parents that catching rabbits day/night, with some collie in in its mix.Collie can be strong gene in a x, and a 1/4 plenty to give brains and speed agility lurcher x lurcher there some very good dogs out there
  5. spot on neil , he says's it for what it really is, fair play , beefy always liked shooting clays and game, and is all for hunting controlling rabbits, hares, foxes , he deff on the hunters side ​

    true, ive put my views already on this post, but i did watch it last night, when it was showing the doctors giving there views and experience in court , and they all said he was blind,deaf, and in pain but unable to show it properly . well the 1st thing came in my mind as a parent , and now grand parent , they should have never let this little lad suffer for so long that's deff the parents 1st, then the doctors 2nd, the parents i think should deff told doctors to end is suffering months back. they are young couple and can start again and have another child with luck it will be healthy/n
  10. true, both my lurcher are 1/2 xs and the alsatian and the collie comes through them alot, as both have good noses for finding game, and Buck my big 1x gsd x grey goes into cover , yeh thats right lol just like a over grown springer lol . But i have seen few big springers and labs when beating thats gone in cover , so it was no surprise to see my 2 dogs doing the same job.And infact ive had some great bit of sport with them mooching etc, norm Buck goes in and knock out whats in there and old Bryn will grab it it when it bolts out great crack deff Buck going
  11. nice little dog, good breeds in there , the sprocker a good shooting dog, there getting very popular now , even the die hard springer blokes, are getting them now.
  12. looks nice little dog that, spot on for bushing ive got 2 lurchers that will go in cover if there somthing in there , and norm the one waits for a bolt outside, while the other inside the cover , had some great bit of sport with the odd fox bolt out and rabbits, and birds, but will admit a springer or little type dog would deff be a very good in a bushing team deff, the day seems to fly by when your mooching about .!!
  13. big pigeon keeping area some of the best were from round your way yeh there was , and most had some kind of staff/pit type dogs in the gardens in kennels , not so much guard dogs , but to kill the cats , that would hang around the pigeon lofts . i can remember the one day, was talking to this lads dad about some of his birds, as he had them out and was getting them back in. when there staff type ran down the garden like a feckin rocket lol, it went back of the loft and a cat sprang out and shot up next doors tree , bloody hell that cat was lucky only by few inches , or it wou

  18. just read your thread above, and sounds like you all suffered , not just your sister, sad to read mate. when i was working at my local brewery , i worked with a bloke who was a (manic depressive ) i worked with him for 10 years, and he was a type of person that never really smiled , and always had a bleak out look to life . i used to go mad at him some days, and told him to get a grip and snap out of it.   21. you wouldnt believe what that bitch was like when i first met vin years ago after seeing how she is now. he hadnt had her long when we first met, she had been abused allrite. best thing that ever happened to her was vin. after alot of time and patience he now dont leave home on a hunting trip without her.   24. being honest , the only ones i can think of who kept/worked running dogs back in early 60s 60-64 were gypos , i used walk our staffs over the fields and bump into them there . had few walks with them watching them catch rabbits and hares , the dogs they had were big and small rough haired racy type dogs .Most type dogs by me as a kid were staffs, pit type dogs and heinz 57s lol you see the odd whippet, that was kept for racing suppose . my self didnt get in to lurchers till i was 30 , was in to bull breeds well before lurchers , this was growing up in W-ton , ok back then , but a
