  1. I know few lads use there sooper dooper champ think it's called dogs seem to look n run well
  2. Odd one fair enough maybe but as others have said about the hard ground, it may of rained but no were near enough to soak into the baked ground, young dog, temps way to high, middle of summer, pregnant gear, bad craic alround really but upto you if that's how you want to continue in the game but don't think you gained out in the long run, also been mentioned of a past dog pulling up at hedges etc, well summer even early season can be the worst time for this especially for a young dog due to all the cover that's about..
  3. As said smart strong looking whippet reckon there should be a separate section on here for the lads with whippets n whippet x's..
  4. Seen these pups and there an absolute credit to Jacob and his family good dog people n they've done a grand job with these there bouncing very forward bright confident pups ope they get real good working Homes..

  9. Glad the fella got his dogs back it's rare you hear of people getting them back fair play to the lads that put the word out..
  10. Lol aye no pressure then roybo".. Be good to have a proper none feck about filter like the old clulight tho wouldn't it, them clulights would of been a great lamp if they had abit better performance they were defo decent durable little little things n popular with shootin lads at the time aswell, if something like them was about with better performance be grand oh n a dimmer lol
  11. Think il try one for my spaniel she's only a small type if you've got any that would suit her like the sound of the lurcher shaped ones aswell not seen them.p ones..
  12. I agree its just a collar at the end of the day I only ever use one when out coursing, well I did pre ban, most days a collars the last thing the dog needs around its neck when it going though cover more so at speedTrue that arctic, I see a few shootin lads with them biothane ones last season tho so might give one ago at some point..
  13. If it's got a flip up filter with a dimmer n improved wiring il pay 150 no danger we pay 300 just for a lithium battery lol, if it does what it says on the tin and performs as good as a striker but finally brings improved reliability n no pissing about with noisey filters etc they'l go like hot cakes..
  14. Didn't get chance to see it gutted but heard off a few that went that both wanted it both went for it top atmosphere both got a lot a respect..
  15. Guns need a new lamp for next season so be good to see what's about at that time, small/medium sized durable same beam as a striker with flip up filter n dimmer be ideal for me don't mind if built in battery or plug to a separate battery as long as durable inside n out..
  16. you have been going for 3 years and its just on the go what have you been up too????? Er arh a starter for ten, you have a member on the hunting council?? What have they done so far?? Face book etc is currently full of people off to the shows, many of which will be hunt lurcher/terrier shows, hows about the council member getting the hunts to agree to a class supporting the AWL at all these shows??? Free advertising for the club and a chance to get people email addresses, (perfect for future campaigns i.e. some twit puts a video on the TV about lurchers that portrays an unfair picture, you
  17. How they doing now bobza did you keep one yourself..
  18. Not crabbin the dogs or out but poor hare that what month was it. good one for the pup mind n atleast out the gene pool for ya..
  19. Union can be quick aswell but theres a lot more stopping n starting were as in league the ball is in play a lot more plus fewer set pieces n rules which makes for a lot more phisical skilful n free flowin game..
  20. i was always told by my old man, it's gentlemens sport ,played by thugs , and you look back over the years some of the its, fights that gone on , on a rugby pitch , my old dad was right . But i think there trying to change it now, even though george north , only resiliently had to tackles and was took off for safety reasons , anything to do with (head, neck, spine ) they bring them off . ive always thought my self that these players , must fookin ache for week or 2 after a game, i know there bigger and stronger than your average man, but even at 14 st of muscle like sexton ,
  21. It's a hard game played both Union and league found league the tougher of the two but enjoy both, I know a lot of handy lads but they've never gave rugby a proper go strange that..
