    Couldn't agree more, I think the future for lurcher work is bleak especially if labour get in again but surely things haven't got to that stage already the mind boggles..

    Depends as well if your beating or picking up or are you doing both can make a difference as a dog doing both beating and picking up especially if drive after drive n flighting as well are being put under the cosh a lot more than someone who has multiple dogs n swap n change dogs between drives or days but as long as you maintain them well then they should be fine both mine are out 4 times a week n manage ok but look after em n plough the grub into them, just picking up for excample you you can get away with a lot more jmo, as for a first season dog I wouldn't be doing anywhere near that much,

    I don't use much biscuits myself but use eukanuba lately when I do n gains not a bad feed but a lot on the places I go tend to feed that dr johns or skinners not sure what they pay tho..

    Cracking little pups n glad you've found what you've been looking for Kieth be good to see how this litter gets on both nice parents but really like the look of the sire looks a well put together collie he does n pups should have a decent jackets on them..

    Iv got a bitch out of one of his stud dogs she's not a bad bitch.

    Same most keeperd places there good at keeping Charlie down but problem is everything else that moves gets the bullet as well n with there roof mounted lamps n thermals hares n rabbits don't stand a chance but there not bothered as long as there birds do well, we should all stick together at the end of the day but they'll always believe there above us and there's not many now that respect wildlife but then there's a lot of dog lads that don't either which is a shame..

    Know a few keepers n go on a few different shoots regular get a bit of leeway but most piss in the same pot when it comes down to it odd one ok but not many to be trusted.

    I know the police use royal cannin after a dog had me backed in a corner copper told me most use r c so must be sponsored by them think he said that particular dog which was a Belgium Mali which looked real well was on r c maxi..

    Dr johns gold doesn't seem to have a good rep with lurcher lads but plenty gundogs up n down the country seem to thrive on it?know a fair few that use it, I don't know anyone that uses lidl so can't comment on it.

    I like to feed meat but best iv found for a dog that struggles to keep weight on is eukanuba puppy..

    As well as meat I like eukanuba also seen some pups reared on gain puppy n sapling n they looked well..

    Looks well, a local fella recently reared a litter of lab pups on gain puppy and sapling and they looked spot on..

    He's a smart dog for sure, miserable lookin but smart.. Yours is the only one left that's runnin now the others are either dead or permanently injured..
