Did a Delmonico joint, aka poor man's brisket or chuck. And a pork collar both been on since 12 , needed a bit longer on the beef but kids bedtime and all that... Cut both in half so have for a gentle warm through in the week and will probably be better as had longer to rest etc...it's decent , tasty at least...

I'd say COVID pandemic should get a mention as it's more than disrupted global trade, and from my side British engineering is booming for the first time in my lifetime, it's a shame we haven't invested enough in training youngsters, as there's more jobs than people that can do them, lots of opportunities now for the ones that can afford to requalify etc. The government has failed miserably for decades including Blair's /brown stint and the Tories . If you can't even defend an islands borders then you're not worth having..
