I've had my sleep patterns thrown to the wind between power naps and food induced comas, anyway enjoying the 'big short' I've previously avoided it but put it on through lack of decent stuff on Netflix and prime, it's enjoyable, but sometimes lack of expectation improves a movie....

My fav, all the cold cuts. Be a few days away for me, about to get another two hams on the smoker, got a salmon to attempt to brine and smoke too, kinda regretting the salmon as gonna be a major job in a tiny kitchen, and not sure how well it will go down. But keeps me busy...

I got a BBQ utensil set, managed to hide my disappointment of it not being a meateor probe ? but I've treated myself plenty this year. Kids had some great presents, although a football kit went down the best ? missus had some jewellery , I let the kids choose it , cost a fair bit , youngest told her it cost £5 cheeky little bugger...?

Well after a fiery backdraft smoker issue that man shaved my arms and took over an hour to reduce temp , everything seems to be good and done , kids playing wife drinking wine and eating chocolate , I've cooked and wrapped most food , resting meat , saving some tenderstem until the last roasted sprouts , sweet potato for missus, mushroom for son, caully broc cheese , hasselback spuds with pig's in blankets, stuffing balls, onion garlic beef gravy , and a three rib, now going to wait for cries of hunger , whilst I enjoy a scotch, enjoy guys.....

I've been prepping , bringing my three rib up to room temp for early go on smoker , doing hasselback spuds with polenta garlic sprinkles and pugs in blankets, made cauliflower broccoli cheese, got sprouts , I'll start a gravy in the morning, might do peas with tenderstem broccoli too. Baked onions and one kid wants mushrooms , oh and got to do stuffing balls ....??

Supping a Peroni , kids watching Muppets Christmas carol, I'm prepping for tomorrow, missus gone for pizza, chill time as pressies all wrapped this year , last year was tiring, wrapping at three am kids awake at six. This year will be sweet. Few beers and wait for Santa....

Other than the above analogies don't account for a (for example) help riotous folks are going to damage our properties can you come down and assist in defending them, why of course be down directly...oh shot they're armed and going to take my weapon bang bang. Steak in our house missus picked the biggest and could only manage half, so I stepped in and saved the waste. Kids had medium rare ?, had a Diane sauce to dunk it in.

I like this joke, but better when told...
