    MP stabbed

Seems to have done a fair bit for charity, family man with five kids, and taken away by a Somali Brit? I'm no fan of politicians, but he seemed one of the more decent church orientated ones.
  2. I bought my old man a 15 , think it's a sherry cask might be wrong, anyway it's knocking about in his shed somewhere, probably have a toast to him at some point. How much was the 18? They had an unusual bottle I picked up but then saw it was £100 so gently returned it lol...

  5. Sounds like you need a few more services, cars are a headache , I'm running a banger Volvo atm done 211k , towed my mates van up a mountain yesterday ? but only keeps going because he does maintenance and oil changes for me...I really would like a big 4x4 for next motor but can't really fault the comfort of a big Volvo auto, can get all my welding gear in the back and makes a decent dog bus, eats up miles but fuel too....
  6. To imagine you can have an airtight 200 person webinar is foolish, the verdict has obviously been timed to coincide with national trust vote etc. I'd say it was fairly obvious he was guilty. Death by arrogance?
  7. Grass, a natural diet , I like marbling too but surely they can pack on fat with the first grasses same as the produce the best cream on it?
  8. Okay, so whatever your take on it he's put thousands of people out of work and undermined the rural communities of which these sports and traditions are entwined with. Whilst seeking the spotlight, fame and fortune. He's created a criminality that didn't exist before the ban , and tbh seemed more concerned about the gates than the constant gifts of dead foxes and badgers. I think in general COVID has solidified a sickening of the public's view on celebrity, from popstars crying because they're stuck in their mansions and activists harping on about the plight of pests in the UK, whilst children
  9. Gave my mate Arry a call, and got out for the day. I had some sloes in mind as wanted to knock up some gin for Christmas, we found plenty and I received some education on finding and recognising fungi , had chanterelles , field mushroom and hen of the woods and some bonus wild plums , in stunning scenery, along with the busher having a day of flushing pheasants. All in all a great day in great company , cheers Arry. Pic heavy...
  10. Yep can't beat a bit of spiteful motivation, I did a dry January year before last just to make the point , but I also think most drinkers can leave it alone at a push. I left it for 8 months before and gave up smokes but that was a lifetime ago. Can't see anything filling the void unfortunately, I'll probably knock it on the head once I leave contracting behind but there's always an excuse. Power to you mate, I enjoy a drink and seem to be able to moderate it more these days...
  11. Nobody likes a smart arse, well done fella, something I could benefit from if I could keep my marbles....

  16. Took the 5 yr old out with his whip yesterday, reminded me how much I enjoy perch fishing...not a specimen by any stretch but he was chuffed....
  17. If you don't penalise these large corporations/churches worth millions who seem unable to police/protect children in their care, will they bother in the future? I think there needs to be a lot more done than just financial but unfortunately for the majority of them it's all they care about. I wonder if the Catholic church has gone as far back as it has to cover up more recent crimes ie making it seem more historic than it is...end of the day society needs real punishment for the perpetrators including chemical castration for serial/repeat offenders...the do gooders would rather protect perpetr
