I honestly think Brookie is in the right!! It's his or his sons dog !! BUT, I'll bet he'll NEVER lend a dog out again !! Of course, it's not his fault... but all this could have been avoided by NOT lending the dog out ! That doesn't excuse the c**t who stole the dog !! Cheers,

No mate, I'm not a freind of the dog thief ! I would personaly shoot a dog thief !! My question was about loaning a dog to ANYONE ! Yes some of the coursing lads lend dogs to each other, but I'm sure there is trust between them. ...Did you lend the dog to some one ...or was it stolen from you ? Either way, it was a shit way to lose a dog.. but if you did lend it to someone, did you trust them and they ripped you off ?? It would be good to know the exact circumstances. Now, I.ve read all the threads on this site, and other sites, and heard all the tales about this dog that was, or was not, stollen, but one thing allways comes back to mind..... WHY DID SOME ONE LEND THEIR DOG TO SOMEONE ???? I wouldn't lend one of my dogs to a stranger , did the owmer of this dog REALY lend it to someone, who then gave it to the WARRENER who then made a video of it, and then told massive lies as to what happened to the dog ? This story is going down as an "Urban Myth" ! Unless it actualy happened ......... Cheers.

No I've ran them my self half-breds no good for the places most people run and what most are trying to catch, 1/4 deerhound are a hell of a lot better but i think the best are D G crossed with another type of lurcher. Cop out !

I've a bitch pup by Doxhope Knights Errant, out of an Irish Greyhound bitch; she's 28 1/2" at 9 month old, would you say she is bigger than average for her breed ? I, personaly, think she is exactly at the height/wheight I wanted her to be, maybe I just hit lucky, or perhaps it could be her feeding/upbringing/etc ? Would you have expected a bitch to have been smaller ? Cheers.

Kye, you say your dog is NOT a Lurcher, but a Staghound..... My pup is a 1st cross Deer/Grey... theoreticaly she isn't a Lurcher, the Aussie's would call her a Staghound; here , we would call her a Longdog or Lurcher, what would you call her out there ? Chjeers.
