    Right..... I've been getting PM'S about this final; let me make it clear; I am not involved in running or organising this competition !!! I paid my entry fee, just like everyone else and was knocked out in the 3rd round. I hoped it would be a success as it is the only legal way we can test our dogs on live quarry. My oppinion on the final, AND IT IS ONLY my oppinion !!, is that it should be run next saturday, at Single Handeds place, no ifs or buts !! If both turn up, then run it and even if it is only one - nil, then thats it over ! If only one turns up, then he is declared the winner and

It should be ran this weekend or next at latest. I have offered land an the two finalists havnt even aknowledged the offer.. It's a F*ckin JOKE. Am just gutted it took to the semi finals for me to realise. An gin, charty always seem to find a way to defend it. I bet LDR doesn't open write another thing on this.     JD, you should get your facts right !!!! I have NEVER been a "Director" or anything else in this or any other competition! I am a pal of LDR's and have done my best to make the comp a success, but as any one will tell you; I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE RUNNING OF IT !! LDR runs the comp, makes the rules and the decisions himself; nothing to do with me ! What pisses me off is this is the ONLY way we can test dogs on live quarry, within the law, in open competition, but cvnts like you who haven't got a clue, only try to knock it, instead of supporting it and trying to make it better !! You only

    I asked why you were so interested in the comp, I asked who you are, I wondered why your first, and subsequent posts have all been about the comp.... What is your motive for this ????? You seem like an angry individual, if the comp has pissed you off.... please say why !     Get a decent lawyer and challenge this !! Rabbits are NOT considered "GAME", according to the Game Act !! You may have been arrested on the charge of "being in pusuit of game OR coney"; but coney is certainly NOT protected under the Game Act, and has no hunting season, nor is it illeagal to take them on a Sunday.     Hmmmm; A good thread 'till the arguments started ! I have a "Lurcher x Lurcher"; Beddy/Grey x Deer/Grey-Whippet/Grey; and also have an F1 Deer/Grey..Is one better than the other ? I suppose it's what you want from your dog. My "Lurcher!" is a good "all round dog" but the 1st cross was brought in for a specific purpose. Of course, there are Lurcher to Lurcher crosses that will do what you want, but the old "Hybrid Vigour" takes a bit of beating, for certain tasks ! Cheers.

Cheers. what im saying is doxhope is proven but if my boy dont make the grade i wont put him across anything just because of a name and if he does make a good dog think i would still go back to source of where i got him or lads like cook or bill doc who have proven there knowledge You're right mate. They are extremly well bred Deer X's; but I'll do the same as I've done with every dog I've ever owned....... and give them the best chances they can have ! Lima will be entered when I think she is ready, and I hope for, and expect, the best !! Cheers.
