The question is not which is the BEST X, it's which would make the best allrounder. Bull X's excel at what they do, but I doubt anyone would buy one specificaly for rabbits and hares. Whereas a Deer x could do these and, pre ban, run fox and deer. So for some one who wanted to do a bit of everything, then a Deer X would PROBABLY be better than a Bull X ! Cheers.

Well, there will be people vehemently disagree with me; but I don't think you can class a Bull X as an "All Rounder"; but you could, posibly, get an "All Rounder" Deer x type! I don't think anyone looking for an all rounder would go for a Bull X. Cheers.

A lot of lads, when asked how their dog is bred, will answer truthfully, "It's Lurcher X Lurcher" no need to mention loads of different breeds that may or may not have gone into the dogs make up. Also, "Suzuki" has been used as a name for Saluki Hybrids for many years around the North East, perhaps the lad was just carrying on a tradition ? Cheers.

The Borzoi is used fairly commonly in crosses with the Staghound in the U.S. and Australia,but of course they are used to hunt different game than what we are used to, although I've heard they are more than decent on fox ! Isn't there an Irish Greyhound clearing up at the Lurcher racing, that is 1/16th Borzoi ? I can't see any problem with this cross the lad is proposing;I personaly would use a Non-Ped Whippet, with a fair bit of Grey blood in it, but thats only my opinion ! Best of luck to him ! Cheers. -

Those "Windhounds" from the U.S. are basicaly Whippet x Borzoi; good lookers, but haven't a clue if they are any use for working ! Cheers. -

I've had two claims recently from work incurred injuries, the vet knows my dogs are workers, and he filled in the claim forms. Money was recieved in under two weeks, no questions asked ! Cheers.

Mine are insured with the PDSA, and they know they are Lurchers and the only stipulation is no racing. They were previously insured with Tesco's; same again, working didn't come into it, only no racing. In fact, every quote I've had online, not one of them has mentioned working, only racing ! Cheers.

The season started on Saturday, but we decided to avoid the crowds and went on Tuesday. £29 for the new "couples" 12 fish ticket. £7 for our day lisence, and £2.10 for 12 worms, not a cheap day, but we usualy enjoy it ! From 8 in the morning 'till 5 at night....and 5 rods had ONE fish !! Talked to the rest of the people fishing around the resevoir and they also had nowt Northumbrian Water taking he piss ?? I THINK SO !!

Cheers. hi mate,he will be 4 this coming september, he cant catch my number 1 quarry,bunnies aint my number 1 quarry,even tho he has killed 4 the past 2 days out moochin,i meant semi retired,i will keep him to do some local golf course lampin,where he killed a few bunnies and a fox 4 weeks ago,and just to keep him happy,plus to feed the fecker coz he eats like a lion
