  1. Don't forget pikeys and Bruce Willis ? Cheers.
  2. "Pinnochio Syndrom" and "Disappearing Dick Disease"...... Very rare conditions, almost unheard of to get them simultaneously, could be linked to Covid , or having the vax, or maybe not having the vax, depending on what conspiracy theory you adhere to. ? Cheers.
  3. County Offaly is nice; a bit remote and rural, but that suited me ! Stayed in a little place called Ballycommon, fished in the Grand Canal and exercised the local hares. Cheers.
  4. I didn't say you did. You said "life as we know it". I just asked a general question concerning possible extraterrestrial life that may differ from "life as we know it", i.e. not carbon based, or on a goldilocks planet. As for what other elements do I think life could survive in, it depends what you mean by "life" .I know physicists contemplate different dimensions to the ones we recognise, so any possible "life" forms out there may be way beyond anything we can comprehend, living in elements we don't even know exist. Cheers.
  5. I've been happily married for 45 years.........I'd like to make it to 46 ! ? ! Cheers.
  6. Does does it have to be "life" as we know it ? Why do we think "life" needs to be carbon based and can only live on a "goldilocks" planet ? Cheers.
  7. I could write a long list, but my missus has a look on here now and again, so, for the sake of matrimonial harmony, and anything for a quiet life, I'll hold my tongue ! ? ! Cheers.

    eBay

There's a resolution section, and from what I see, you shouldn't lose anything if you follow the procedure, and can re-list the item. The non-buyer will have it recorded on his account. Cheers.

    eBay

I wouldn't enter into any conversation with him. Let PayPal deal with it. Cheers.
  10. I don't really understand it, Max. How something that was a prize on a computer game can become worth almost $50,000 dollars is way beyond my ken ! Maybe I can sell my battle tiger or sword of Azamov I got on online Dungeons & Dragons for one Chartcoin, and become a billionaire? I still think it will end in tears ! Cheers.
  11. Nope, when they were first offered for sale they were less than 10 US cents. Cheers.
  12. I know bitcoin can be traded on FOREX, but to be honest, I get a headache trying to work it out ! You have to buy a "hard currency" with your bitcoin, then you can trade your usd for yen or whatever, then when you cash out, your usd may have gained on the yen, but the bitcoin may have surged ahead, but you get paid out on your origional bitcoin rate, so you lose out ? I'll stick to gold ! ? ! Cheers.
  13. They didn't cost anything. It was basically a computer game where you solved problems to be able to "mine" bitcoin, then people started selling and trading what they "mined" Cheers.
  14. I can't see the worlds banking system allowing a "currency" they can't control become, or even overtake "normal money" . I can see another "south sea bubble" ! Cheers.
  15. Hares seem to enjoy an almost mythical status amongst the quarry we hunt, but if I'm out for sport and enjoyment, it's fair law and the right conditions. If I'm out for one for the pot, all bets are off....I'd be happy for the dog taking one out of its seat. Cheers.
  16. Just go to the Poundshop ! All shapes and sizes of food storage containers. Cheers.
  17. I may be wrong, but aren't leads a bit obsolete now ? Blue tooth maybe ? Cheers.
  18. I think feeding them is probly right, but I was wondering if there was any by-product that was attracting them ? What I can't explain is why, years ago, Nissan's sports field in Washington used to be heaving with hares, and the Formica factory, in the middle of Newcastle and literally miles from open countryside, was also full of hares. It was like shooting fish in a barrel , just put the dog over the fence and stand back ! Cheers.
  19. Why are they having such a problem with them ? Whats attracting them ? Cheers.
  20. Chicken & Mushroom Pie; Nice and simple. Cheers.
  21. Nice to see and hear about dogs being worked in other countries. Hope to have a trip there sometime. Cheers.
  22. I'm 69 and the missus is 68, Ray. Just had a phone call, offering us both the jab at 10:30 Thursday morning. Cheers.
  23. As much as I enjoy our reparte', I fear this conversation is going round in circles . Suffice to say, I think a trade agreement and close cooperation on security, etc, with the Anglosphere is a good idea. Political uninon with them is not. These are my views and opinions, but I respect any views others may have even if I may disagree with them. Cheers.
  24. I'm not sure what you're asking me that I haven't already answered. The UK is in many alliances that are not political unions. Your question as to why the EU is bad and the UK is good is a bit strange. I'm a citizen of the UK, i vote for politicians in the UK. I dont want to be a citizen of the EU and have no say in who is my "President" I want my country to be a sovereign, independent nation. I want the laws of the UK made and implementedby UK politicians and judiciary. Surely the EU vax fiasco shows why we are better off out ? As even UVDL said, the EU is l
  25. I simply think trading unions are simple and effective, no need for political union. Giving up, or sharing sovereignty, as has been seen with Brexit, leads to animosity, mistrust and anger, especially if those taking the sovereignty are unelected. I DO think we should have closer relations with the Anglosphere and the commonwealth. We ARE politically connected to the Anglo world to a certain extent, the "five eyes", comes to mind, and we are all western democracies, but the political union such as the EU has, and is hell bent on furthering, is a complete anathema to me.
