    Yeah, he made a few mistakes, but to come from 3-0 down, to win 6-4 shows how good he is even with his "b" game. That last frame clearance was great, he was out of his seat like a whippet out the traps when Hawkings made the mistake !     This is bigger than just her. Theres many others in the same position as her, and if she's allowed back here, it sets a precedent for the rest, and they aren't all young girls, many are battle hardened ISIS fighters. Im not sure about her being stateless; her husband is/was Dutch, and she has/ had dual nationality, British and Bangladeshi. Bangladesh has already said they don't want her, and if she did go there she would be tried on terrorism charges and hanged if found guilty.     Just watched Higgins, he hasn't lost a frame yet ! To whitewash Shelby and restrict him to just 7 points in the whole match is remarkable ! Looking forward to O'Sullivans game tonight and hope it's him and Higgins in the final. Cheers.

    Getting busy with my plots now. Got the greenhouse ready for seeding and just come home from buying veg seeds, but there was frost this morning, so I'll wait a bit. Ive moved all the poultry into my new, adjoining plot and getting ready to install a new poly tunnel for extra tomatoes. All the raised beds need rotovating, but I'll leave it till it gets a bit warmer. Im champing at the bit, but I fear the frost isn't over just yet. Cheers.

    I don't think the Supreme Court judgement was about the legality of removing her passport, it was more about the Home Secretaries refusal to allow her back into the country to fight her case in person. Her lawyers were told she could give evidence over a video link, but they insisted it infringed her human rights. The High Court said she couldn't come back for the hearing, the Court of Appeal over ruled them and said she could, and now the highest court in the land and has over ruled them ! Is this the end of it ? I don't know, her next step will be to take it to the ECHR, then

    Wow, that supprised me ! The Supreme Court has comprehensively over ruled the Court of Appeal and said Begum will not be allowed back into the UK to fight her case to get her passport back ! The Appeal Court had said her human rights were more important than national secrurity, The Supreme Court rejected this. Almost restores my faith in common sense ! Cheers.

    Just poking a bit of gentle fun at the Welsh , Two of my three best pals are Welsh, ( the other is a Mackem !). I was at the Arms Park when Wales beat West Germany 1-0, I cheered and sang with the best of them when Rushy scored ! Happy days ! Cheers.

    Salmonds not the type to give up, he will not let them gag him. I think if they insist on redacting all his accusations concerning Sturgeon, he will go public with it and dare them to arrest him for contempt of court. I never thought I'd ever be rooting for Salmond , but if it gets rid of wee Jimmy Cranky, bring it on ! Cheers.

    Reminds of when I was breeding budgies in Saudi; I was looking in a pet shop window and there amongst the normal coloured birds was a bright pink one ! I went back the next day but couldn't see it, so asked the guy where was the pink budgie ? He told me it had sold first thing that morning. He could see how dissapointed I was and said, " don't worry, come back later and I'll spray another one for you " !!! Cheers.

    I knew Pauline Wilson who origionaly started and owned the Whippet News, and still have a copy of her book; I remember a lot of the names, people and dogs, in those pics, and I used to race at Seaton Burn, a bit earlier than that. Brings back nice memories, thanks for sharing ! Cheers.
