  1. What's hard about training a dog not to pull ? I'd of thought it was the most basic of training . Cheers.
  2. I think you have more control over a dog with a collar. Cheers.
  3. I've ate plenty goat, (and camel), in the Middle East and around the world. The Arabs cook it very plain, basically just boiled or roast, with rice. On the sub-continent, Africa and other places, its curried, roast, boiled. Cant see any difference with a mutton curry. Both delicious If, like anything else, it's cooked right ! Cheers.
  4. Baw was infinitely more intelligent than Whin. Baw had a humour to his wind ups . Cheers.
  5. What did you mate the bitch with, TOMO ? Cheers.
  6. Hilarious! ??? ! Ive got this picture in my mind; Grebster sitting st home, bored stiff, nowt on the telly, and thinks to himself, " I know what I'll do, I'll throw a cast out on THL and see what happens " ! Cast, Bite, Strike, Hook, line and sinker ! Masterfull ! LOL ! Cheers.
  7. Excellent ! If you can see positivity in a frozen canal, your minds in the right place ! ? ! Cheers.
  8. My memory may be getting a bit shaky, but I think there was as much, or more, arguing years ago, but one thing I'm sure of, there was a lot more humour. Cheers.
  9. He asked you if you lived in Eire or N.I. You said you lived in Eire. Thats what caused the confusion. Cheers"
  10. I'm devotee of "Occams Razor" ; if a problem has multiple possible solutions, the simplest one is usually correct. Or, as someone said, " if you hear hoofbeats, assume horses, not zebras ". In other words, don't over complicate things ! ? ! Cheers.
  11. Is running hot water from the tap around the box too simple an explanation ? ? Cheers.
  12. There was an article on Sky News today about crematoriums in Germany, they are overflowing and one in Essen had bodies stacked up in the car park. I don't know if that's how bad it is here, as I believe very little I hear on the news these days ! Cheers.
  13. Many years ago, pre sat nav, a mate of mine who I worked with abroad were both on leave at the same time. He lived in Basingstoke and rang me to say he was coming up to Newcastle to visit me. Many hours later he arrived, I asked him why he took so long ? He said he had been driving round Newcastle Under Lyme for ages looking for my address ! ? ! Cheers.
  14. Baker Boy asked you a simple, straightforward question, "where do you live, Eire or N.I." You gave a simple, straightforward answer, " Eire". If you live in Eire, the rules the UK government bring in will not affect you. If you live in Northern Ireland, the rules will affect you. No need to read between any lines. Cheers.
  15. My mistake, I thought Derry was in Northern Ireland ? Cheers.
  16. Whoops ! My mistake ? Cheers.
  17. Sounds dodgy, mate. No such thing as "Newcastle Police", they are Northumbria Police. Cheers.
  18. Take no notice of him, TOMO, he's allways slagging you off ! Just last night he phoned me and said " have you seen how bad TOMO's spelling is ! " ???? Cheers.
  19. I thought by your posts you must be a uk citizen. If your not, then the UK government can't have any bearing on wether you have the vaccine or not, that would be up to the EU or the Irish government, but you're blaming Boris. Dont get me wrong, I think he's been incompetent in all this, but if anyone is going to force you to have the vaccine, it won't be him, it will be the EU or the Irish government. SAGE advises the U.K. Government, I haven't a clue who advise the EU and the Irish government. Cheers.
  20. I honestly thought you lived in Northern Ireland ! If you live in Eire, how does Boris, SAGE, or the UK affect you as far as Covid is concerned ? Surely the EU's response to Covid is more relevant to you ? Cheers.

    GOUT

To be honest mate, I was sometimes in so much pain I'd of opted for amputation ! ? ! I had to call the doctor out one time, both feet purple and swollen, I was in agony. He took one look and gave me a diclofenic shot, that's when he suggested allopurinol. I had it one time when I lived abroad, it was so bad I phoned my son to take me to hospital, I literally crawled on my hands and knees to his car. If taking one pill a day for the rest of my life alleviated that pain, then no hesitation from me ! Cheers.
