What are you on about , you’re not making sense grasshopper ? Cheers.

Still see Keeps now and again. She’s got a pure deerhound bitch , same sire as my deer/grey bitch. Cheers.

There were heats all over the country mate, I ran in York’s and Notts, some were down south. A lad called Dogs & Natives on here ran some heats around Corbridge and a lad from the Hayden hunt ran some around Fourstones. I judged a couple at Pegswood and Ashington. Cheers.

I remember when LDR’s fiancé joined and put up a pic of herself with his dog Bruce and his spaniel. A certain ex member who didn’t know she was LDR’s girlfriend, kept pestering her by PM and asking to meet up, claiming he was the same age as her, 30, he was actually mid 40’s. We strung him along for a while then outed him. He claimed he “was just having a laugh”….. Cheers.

No, Woodga didn’t organise it, he held some heats on his permission. Long Dog Runner and I organised both comps. Cheers.

That’s basically the story I heard ; he fell and hurt himself but told his wife the tale about being beaten up and robbed and it was her that started the pay pal collection and when it got out of hand he was just to embarrassed to tell her, and everyone else the truth ! Thats just what I heard, what the truth is , is anyones guess ! Cheers.

No, nothing to do with it. Gin runs the Countryside Marquee at game fairs and Andy Kelly had a stall in it one year. Some people put 2 and 2 together and came up with 5 ! And sadly there was another lad lives in the same general area with the same name, but he is a top class , genuine dog lad, who had absolutely nothing to do with it but some thought they were the same person ! Cheers.

This is a hunting site in name only now. Where are the hunting posts. There are discussions ABOUT hunting and dogs, etc, but no actual HUNTING posts. The forum with by far the heaviest traffic is General Topics. That will keep the site going, but with less and less people posting or joining. Shame, really, but that’s the times we live in, hunting is now seen as something terrible not something to be enjoyed ! Cheers.

Excellent news mate !!! Cheers.

Why would you get severely ripped ? Ive always said there’s no daft questions, only daft answers! I haven’t had any experience of deaf dogs, but wish you best of luck ? Cheers.

Let’s not make this a “whippet v Saluki; which is best hare dog ? “ thing. My point was that the old non-ped whippet was an “all rounder” , a more versatile dog than the modern version. Which in my opinion lead them to be less injury prone . There main purpose was to race, but could also put a rabbit, hare or even in some cases , a roe in the bag. I had a few non-peds that were quite proficient at taking daytime hare, but as I moved away from racing and more into hunting and coursing I turned to purpose bred lurchers. Today the people who race non-ped whippets are only inte

In the village down from me it’s a common sight to see women doing the shopping in their pyjamas and dressing gowns and slippers. They are what we used to call “chavs”, they’ve just got older, lazier and have more children. They can be seen coming out of shops like Lidl and Iceland with a trolley full of 2 litre bottles of own brand cola, multi pack crisps and copious amounts of chicken nuggets and turkey twizzlers. Cheers.

I’ve seen a lot of feet, tendon and muscle injuries, especially dropped graccillis, on non ped whippets, more so on the extremely fast ones. I put this down to the fact they spend most of there time on a lead and the rest of the time running in a straight line. We didn’t seem to have those problems many years ago when I had them and they were multi purpose coursing, hunting AND racing dogs. Cheers.

Why does a grown man care what grown men care about grown men who can’t access a social media platform…. Then again, why did I, a grown man, care about what a grown man cares about grown men caring about grown men who can’t access a social media platform ? See where I’m going with this ? LOL ! Cheers.

They both could positively add to the site if they stopped the tit for tat nonsense, it became very repetitive and boring. Cheers.

I HAVE got an online bank account with IBAN , and the transfer was easy and commission free, but buying the tickets could have been easier online. I don’t want to attract attention and possibly become another PEP like Farage ! PMSL ! Cheers.

I tried to buy tickets from Saudi to UK via Dubai on Emirates for my family but my cards kept being rejected so I phoned the card company and they said the cards were fine, but some airlines will not accept payment as the tickets are cheaper in the originating country. I then phoned Emirates and they said if I was in Saudi they would accept payment but not online from a third country where the tickets are more expensive ! Id never came across this in 26 years in the airline business, but I’ve been retired for almost 20 years so things must have changed! In the end I did an IBAN trans

He said himself that he had put Picardy into the line ! Cheers.

800 years of breading ? Didn’t he add Picardy to his breeding some years back ? He may be a puppy peddler, but he gives you a good laugh ! Cheers.

It doesn’t matter how much money the owners of Newcastle have, they still have to work within FFP, and sadly Mile Ashley used the club as an advertising platform for Sports Direct and neglected building up the clubs commercial resources. Now that new sponsors are coming in things will change as Ashley sold the shirt sponsors and the kit suppliers for a relative pittance compared to most Premier clubs. It seems like ASM will be sold to provide funds for Harvey, who Howe sees as a better, or more consistent, performer. Theres no rules to stop the Saudi clubs “loaning” players to N

Starmer previously said he would scrap the law, but that was when it didn’t look like they would get into power, now it looks like they are nailed on to form the next government he’s done a screeching u turn and said he would keep it. To say the left wing of the Labour Party are unhappy would be a massive understatement ! Cheers.
-
It doesn’t affect me so I’m not sure, but my point was the duplicity of Labour, and all politicians come to that. Call the other side’s policies all the names under the sun ……. then use them yourself when you get into power ! Cheers.
-
The Tory’s introduced a two child cap on child benefits. Jon Ashworth, Labour MP and Shadow Cabinet member called the law “heinous and vicious”. Angela Reynar, Labour MP and Deputy Labour Leader called the law “ obscene “. Yesterday Kier Starmer, MP and Leader of the Labour Party said when Labour get into power they will not rescind the law, they will keep it ! And these b*****ds will most likely form the next U K government….. Cheers.

Brexit. Success? Too early to judge? Disaster?

I’ve told you before about splitting the infinitive! You can say “small brain” or “little brain” , but you can’t say “small, little brain” without making one of the words redundant! Dear God !Keep up or I’ll start setting you homework ! PMSL Cheers. -
