Japanese people who survived the nuclear bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the Hibakusha, are still dying today from cancers caused because of exposure to radiation. There are also cases of brain and other physical deformities in the children of survivors . I would assume that the radiation count decreases over time, until it’s deemed an acceptable level for people to live there, but I wouldn’t want to be living in Chernobyl any time soon. Cheers.

Putin says Boris scuppered a peace deal. In the immortal words of Mandy Rice-Davies; “Well, he would say that, wouldn’t he ? “ Cheers.

Does anyone REALLY think a cut would be deliberate ? Surely something like a muscle or tendon injury would be easier to fake ? Cheers.

At the “PopCon” conference yesterday, Truss, Rees-Mogg, Lee Anderson, etc, said the same thing ! Decision making has been handed over from elected MP’s to unelected judges, committee’s, quangos and foreign entities ! Government ministers can’t even control their Civil Servants. We need a reset, but sadly it will only get worse with the inevitable Labour Government that’s on the horizon….. Cheers.

One trans complained to the Premier League that he/she didn’t feel safe in St. James Park because a lesbian who supports Newcastle had made tweets, unrelated to Newcastle or football, saying basically a man is a man and a woman is a woman. The Premier League investigated and informed the police. The police found no crime bad been committed, but the Premier League advised Newcastle to give the lesbian a two year ban, Newcastle stupidly did this ! From what I hear, the fans aren’t happy and Newcastle have made a huge mistake ! Ive a feeling there will be a massive backtracking

Austin & Pickersgill SD14 shipyard in Southwick, Sunderland. My dad, brother, uncle and cousin worked on building the covered dry docks. A little bit of information that may appeal to Wolfie; my brother was labouring to the welders, who, for some strange reason, were all native Americans! Cheers.

I’ve nothing against Phillips ability, I just think City were being a bit greedy with their loan terms; especially with no option to buy. Supposing Phillips does really well, then he goes back to City, it leaves West Ham back to square one and still needing to buy a new midfielder, after investing around £10,000,000 in Phillips for less than half a season. Cheers.

A lot of countries don’t have heads on their coins, but yeah, I can’t see a ref asking the two captains “ obverse or reverse”. Cheers.
-
Just checked and looks like I got it wrong ; heads is obverse and tails is reverse, so yeah, I guess everyday IS a school day ! Cheers.

I’ve got two £20 silver coins, a £5 coin, and two 12.5 p coins ; all legal tender, not like these coins advertised on tv that are only legal in places like Gibraltar, Tristan de Cuna, Falklands , etc. Cheers.

The “uncrowned” Charles 50p are the ones in general circulation, and they are not “undated”, look carefully on the obverse (opposite side to “heads “ and you will see a tiny year date, and they are worth ….50p. The limited edition “coronation 50p “ has a crowned head and the obverse is Westminster Abbey; Theres far less of them in circulation and they are worth approximately £2:50 to collectors. I managed to get 20 for ten quid from a post office when they first came out. They are with a “Rupert Bear Parliament” and two “ Brexit “ 50p’s that will go to my grandson.

Not prostate cancer, they discovered another cancer when he was being treated for his benign enlarged prostate. Cheers.

Phillips was looked on to be a stand in for our marquee signing, Tonali, who is suspended until next season, but the young lad Miley has been a revelation , and Longstaff is playing out of his skin, plus Willock will be back after injury , so I think Howe just decided that Philips probably wouldn’t be an upgrade worth the money that City wanted, especially with us struggling with FFP. This should change in the summer with the Addidas and Sela sponsorship coming on line and the money we are getting from the Champions League. Maybe City wanted such a big loan fee and for us to pay his

One of the British comedy moments of all time ! Cheers.

I think Newcastle thought “Hmmm, £7,000,000 for less than half a season, Pay his full wages , £150,000 a week, just so we can get him match fit for City to take him back, no option to buy …. nah ! “ Cheers.
-
That’s exactly why I didn’t want him at Newcastle. If he can’t get a game at City, why should we, a club with aspirations to be up there with them, want him, especially with the financial package City we’re wanting ? Cheers.

How can someone be an “expert witness “ on someone they have never met and know nothing about ? Evidently she was paid £2500 from legal aid funds for every “expert witness letter” she wrote. Cheers.
