    We spent a good while setting a photon up on my pals Sako quad .22, couldn’t get it to hold zero. We carried on trying, then it fell off the gun? I don’t think he’d tightened it down very well. I was quite impressed with the pard that he’s now got on a t-bolt. Strangely though, we couldn’t see some eggs on a wooden beam at 100 yards. We could see the wood and grass, nettles etc clearly, but not the eggs? Looking through a standard scope and yes, the eggs were there, crystal clear. Very strange, but apart from that oddity, I like the pard better than photon?.

    Now that they’re doing them in the laminate kt style, I wonder if they might also add the green synthetic to the 110 series at some point? I really like the hw100 in green synthetic, so I’d be interested in a 110 with that stock.

    Yes, as you know Phil, I was undecided about .22 and .25 and in the end I went for .22 because I thought it would offer me greater options regarding ammunition, and power levels that I could most usefully run at. Also, I was going to go for the crown, but advice on here leaned me more towards the impact. I would’ve been out with it today, but it’s too blustery around here to do any useful accuracy testing. Hopefully sometime this coming week??

    Yep, impact 700mm with power plenum. Haven’t had much time to play yet. Is 950fps likely to be better. I’ve had the 18.1 jsb’s at 1040 but I’ve backed it off a bit.

    Thanks, that’s just about what I’m set up on now with 95 bar reg pressure and hammer spring backed off slightly. Looking forward to giving them a good test next week if I get time?
