  1. Looks crap mate, send it to me and I dispose of it for you??
  2. There sure is going to be a lot of gun crime involving these, and only six grand, I can see all the thugs and gangs ordering them for personal protection. Bargain ? the general public should obviously be very concerned..........
  3. Sorry, I forgot it was the first one with that rifle/load. Thanks for the info?
  4. Another one from the bleddy pet shop?? Good shooting Mark. That Ruger’s served you well fella?
  5. Seems like the blizkings are quite frangible then SL. I think I might try the 40 grain blitzkings in .22 now I’ve read your findings ?. If anybody’s got and favourite.22 hornet recipes I’d be interested. Thanks?
  6. Bugger off and keep your nose out ?
  7. Did somebody say mice in a barn? Quick, pass me the hmr..........? or .204?
  8. Good result again bn, that hw’s got a good tally up and earned it’s keep for you fella? I’m lovin’ the green synthetic ??
  9. I had a sharp ace as well. Swapped it for a 12 bore shotgun and regretted it. They were really accurate and in .22 only needed three pumps to hit 10ft lbs.
  10. Be careful, you could end up in trouble.......
  11. Yarp, some good fun on offer there Stavross. Let us know how you get on fella?
  12. Good shooting Mark, that’s a brilliant result ?
  13. True, these latest incarnations are pushing the boundaries forward, that’s for sure. How far they will go will be interesting to see. To my mind though, how far do they need to go?Another 25ft lbs with the heavy slugs and you end up with a rather expensive version of a .22 rimfire shooting subs. If and when they emulate that performance, they may have become rather pointless? Still, I find it interesting to see what they can achieve.
  14. I don’t know anything about the adjustable pellet probe, but I was told that mine would do 60ft lb with its 700mm barrel. I can well believe that, because with the reg pressure only on 95 bar and still loads of adjustment left on the hammer spring and air flow valve, it will run at 43/44 with jsb 18.1’s. I’ve turned it down slightly for pellets and it’s running on the adjustment wheel at min 25.5 to max 40 with 18.1 grain pellets. If I turned the reg pressure up, it’ll be interesting.....?
  15. On a different note, are you using slugs or pellets in the crown vm? I’ve got some 21 grain h&n’s and some 25 grain jsb slugs but haven’t tried them yet.
  16. Well, you can’t argue with that result bumpy. Were the on feeders?
  17. I like the old Simmons wtc, simple scope with a thickish reticle, but good glass. I’ve got an old Burris signature 3-12 x something that’s good in low light, but I can’t find the bleddy thing. I want to put it on my .22 hornet. I’m fed up with these huge and heavy 30mm tubed things that are all the rage nowadays.
  18. Yes, they used to sell the marlins in my mums great universal catalogue back in the early seventies. They had a couple of .22’s, usually marlins, a couple of franchi shot guns and a selection of air rifles and air pistols. How times have changed?
  19. Another good result bn, good shooting fella ?
