    I remember now on TV a farmer was saying they had grown rape on that farm since 1970 but a new ban on some type of pesticide means it won't be worth growing. I am ancient but I can't remember rape in the fields in the 70s.

    Good luck with it mate you will need it. I look regularly just out of interest and they are hard to find. some advertising at moment first cross pups £1700 and they won't be working stock either. they had some on last year at £500 it must be inflation.

    I have been using GZK. 76 green and get on with them. just ordered a ott catty and would like to try different bands. using 9.5mm steel mainly squirrels and pigeons, any recommendations?

    looks like you have done nothing wrong. they looked clean healthy kits. seen it happen before when they go off the back legs and die, adults as well not just kits.
