    I didn't mate no.i have never bred any pups it's not really my thing .the thought of what goes into it and dealing with timewasters ,arseholes etc really puts me off.i have always tried to do my homework when sourcing a decent pup,but 1 day you never know .

    true that is katchum, used to get whippet x fox terrier and whippet x Staffordshire years ago. does anyone still keep the old type of Staffordshire these days?

    line bred beddywhippet from George Kelly in 91.great little ferreting dog. top marking dog, cover worker, even went to ground, I still miss her.

    Good age that is?. I know colour doesn't mean anything, it's working that counts but I do like a nice white jill when it comes to ferreting.

    great picture ?. I was 18 during the strike, father on strike as well. poached more to sell rather than eat. Good market for it then. few of us used to syphon petrol so we could get to the good ground in Lincolnshire. always took from works vans I don't regret any of it.

    totally agree with you. a few months back I was on a path next to old railway cutting. little beddywhippet was on a rabbit on the embankments, a chap and his dog were approaching just as the rabbit bolted across the path. he said I was nothing but scum and he would follow me home and tell everyone what I had been doing . said it was illegal, I told him he would have a long walk, he gave up eventually, this is what it's come too.

    strange one really, doesn't bother some dogs. a friend of mine had a cracking Jack Russell bitch, fireworks scared her, took of one night straight across busy main road and killed by a car.

    it's a shame more didn't go to working homes. my pup was out of a litter of 8 and I think only 3 went to working homes.

    chap asked me is it a bedlington? replied no a bedlington cross whippet, first cross, half and half. he replied definitely a lot more Bedlington in it then. yes mate?

    I loved this frame but unfortunately it had to go. due to arthritis in my wrists I can't manage the brace grip. I shoot ttf nick hegarty pinch grip.

    any evidence to support your theory? not knocking you mate, it's a new one to me.

    close your eyes and count to 10......i think every one is different what they look for. I only have bitches so that reduces the amount straight away. I look for a bold pup that comes to you. also I like to see it dominant playing with others. can't remember who it was, but on here somewhere it was mentioned always look at the roof of the mouth and make sure it is black...... After all that it could still turn out shite?
