  1. It’s been a cracking day for a walk out and to bag a bunny makes it all the better, I’d tolerate the odd bee sting when I’m in there neighbor hood but it will soon be ar*ehole wasp season and I can’t be doing with them nobheads ?
  2. I lad, it’s not all flat caps, whippets and woodbines up here now, we are a lot more civilised theses days ?
  3. I’ll let him know he’s got an admirer next time I see him ?you never know he might let you have a go on it ?
  4. Another two off the front garden or the golf course as it should be called, just seen them when passing and couldn’t resist, a big old boy and a 3/4 ?
  5. I hope you are talking about the rabbits ?
  6. Haha, I don’t know if to take that as an insult or a compliment, I think I’ll take it as a compliment ?
  7. I think a lot of it comes down to if you were born into the money or you made your own way in life, I know plenty who were born into it through the game shooting and they are all twats
  8. After spending the day with her indoors I was in need of a walk out in the countryside, so contacted almost everyone I know and with no one wanting to come out I decided to stay local and have a go at some back garden bunnies in the daylight so off I went to a little spot I have shot for years, now the bloke that owns the place is a cracking fella but by god he’s got some money so I walked up the side of the property and the usual half a million quids worth of cars were parked out the front, as I got to the top he was out with friends enjoying a few beers and some food in the sun, so he
  9. ? everyone should have a sausage day ?????
  10. I pretty sure I could of missed it at that distance, you should get your shooting adventures in the rifle section mate, a few more people will get to see what you have been up to ?
  11. Nice job, it’s sometimes a shame to have to shoot them this time of year but a jobs got to be done, they certainly don’t take any time off from chewing chickens, I wish I could get the missus to come out with me as a spotter, I’ve been struggling lately for a shooting buddy and she’s always bloody there, but will she come out with me, will she heck ?
  12. Always worth a shot at them little beggars, especially this time of year with all the nests for them to raid ?
  13. No idea, but he’s a handsome chap ?
  14. That’s a mean looking bugger, look at the size of the mits on him, you have got to be happy with a 100 yard shot, nice work ?
  15. That’s a lovely looking spot, you lucky lads ?
  16. Haha, all right PC Meece ? we don’t shoot over the rape that would be pointless as you would struggle to find them, we shoot the edge of the wood also the other side of this wood is a field of spring barley that’s just been drilled so that should cover your general licence, but thanks for your concern ?
  17. Your on top form mate, you will be burning that shotgun out at this rate ????
  18. I’ve just showed my mate and he said possible Gadwell/Wigeon hybrid but agrees with me that there’s definitely wigeon in them ?
  19. I might be wrong as I’m no duck expert but the bottom two look like Eurasian Wigeon, but that’s just a guess ?
  20. I know I’m taking this a little off track and I apologise for that, but if anyone can answer this for me I would appreciate it as ive said I use 32g 6’s gamebore clear pigeon and these are around 1400 mv now I’ve used the gamebore 30g 6’s high velocity with an mv of 1390 so on paper they look to be almost the same cartridge ( HV’s a little lighter ) with the same energy and the same FPS but using the HV’s a lot of the birds flew on a good way before dropping, why would this be ( was it just my shooting) and why would they say they were high velocity when there’s no major difference in en
  21. Your not wrong, I bet he’s never paid for a cartridge for years and all his jack pike clothes, they are good and not badly priced, compared to the likes of hull and eley, gamebore do some other 30/32’s 6’s high velocity and if you come across them don’t bother, I got some for the pigeons and everything I hit carried on for about 800 yards before falling out the sky, they seemed to be that fast that the shot was going straight through them, my poor mate was knackered when I kept sending him running down the field to pick them up to add to the pattern ?
