  1. Mmmm, pigeon ?, send your tofu into spring watch as a conciliation prize for that fu*k wit who’s name will no longer be spoken ?
  2. Have a read of them on defra’s site mate, for crop protection they look spot on, you should still try the usual farming methods, bangers etc but as you will know these only work for a short time ?
  3. Well I haven’t read them word for word because I’m running a bit late this morning but they do seem to cover everything I do and are very well worded compared to the rubbish natural England released, I haven’t read specifically about decoying pigeon but this may be covered under the trapping legislation, one thing I did see is you can now eat what you shoot ( wood pigeon) but you can’t sell it, so at the minute it’s looking good, but I’ll reserve judgment until I’ve read them fully and before I call for Michael coke head gove to be knighted
  4. So does it work like the ruger 10/22 only without the mag and holds more rounds, I’ve always wanted a semi auto.22
  5. A quick question, I no nothing about the marlin, someone told me that you load them like a semi auto shotgun and they take about 20 rounds into a tube, is this true and do you have to reload after every shot or is it semi auto
  6. I wonder if I could tell them I only eat the stubble so I’m protecting my dinner
  7. Haha, no mate that’s when the new licenses are released so you can have a read through them ?
  8. It’s looking like gl36, just need to give it a good read through after midnight ?
  9. what I want to see in the license is been able to shoot wood pigeon over stubble, I would consider this preventative shooting because we know the problem is coming so why wait until it arrives, I just hope the license is clear and not to be interpreted in many different ways as this is what started this mess
  10. Keep an eye on that, the crows will be on that in no time, they love laid milky barley
  11. Hopefully these will be watertight and stuff it up wild justice, I will be waiting up to read these, it looks like they are going to cover protection of wild birds, I’m interested to see how they are worded
  12. It’s never stopped here again today and it’s still raining now, bet you could do with that drying up, you don’t need to be up to your eyes in sheep’s feet this time of year ?
  13. I’ve helped out once before with someone clipping two pacas, never got spat on but when I had to wrestle it to the ground it kicked the sh*t out of me, they are strong little buggers, all the clipper lad did was stand there laughing at a fat lad getting a kicking from a leggie sheep, the nobhead
  14. Weather update for Stockton-on-Tees, still sh*t and stav’s getting cabin fever ?️
  15. Couple of good size hoppers there, there’s a lot about at the minute, fingers crossed for some good nights out after combining ?
  16. No foxy action but a couple of hoppers bbq so definitely a worthwhile outing ?
  17. Good mod, just a little bit expensive for a rimfire
  18. I use a dpt on my .243 and one of my .17hmr’s they weigh nothing and been a stack mod you can customise it to your own requirements, definitely worth a look ?
  19. You should put these pictures in the photography section mate, there’s a good few chaps there that really know there stuff ?
  20. It certainly has the look of a female reed bunting but I’m no Chris packham ( thank fu*k ? )
  21. I’ve used them in .243, they say that the coating on the tip slows the expanding down, all I found was they killed sh*t like the rest of them ?
  22. 3 lovely photos Bernie Sausage, good effort keeping them crows away from them ?
  23. I know this happens year in year out and everything has its place in the food chain but it definitely seems to me that without any control this year it’s seems to have been a very tough time for the birds and fowl, I also understand that many of us didn’t follow the GL correctly but from what I’ve seen over the past weeks we were doing more good than harm, some sensible clear guidelines wouldn’t go amiss
  24. I was back in the village earlier today, as I passed the duck pond I could see a large amount of crows around the edge with 20 or so mallard on the water, I stopped for a moment and couldn’t see one duckling, very sad ?
