  1. I read it as, as the last resort is to shoot them the owner of the livestock will of taken the preventative steps before asking the likes of me and you to dispatch them in a humane manner and as for a record of the steps taken what do they want “ on Tuesday I waved a flag at them nasty crows and Wednesday we used a banger until they wised up to it, as for what has been shot I’d leave that for the owner to document
  2. I like them cci’s for chucking at rabbits because they are as many as you can carry for about 10 quid ?
  3. You will not have to carry any licenses, the rest of the licenses will be issued in the coming weeks and as it is a general license all you will need to do is act in accordance with the license
  4. Here’s a few that are worth a look in that budget, all adjustable parallax, the optisan is a cracker
  5. That’s GL26 the first revised licence to be released by NE, it allows the shooting of crows only for the protection of livestock providing that you carry this out within NE guidelines
  6. Haha, I love my trigger sticks ?? saying that I was out with someone last night and his fell to bits ?
  7. You won’t go wrong with bushnell, although they are American the optics are made in Japan, they also make Tasco, browning optics and them primos trigger sticks ?
  8. Nice shooting Bernard sausage, it’s nice to know there’s still some things you can legally shoot and eat ?
  9. It looks like I may of mislead you there, Ive just had a look and the new scope all seem to use the same coating, I was told when I bought mine the coating was different for use in low light, maybe they have updated the rang and changed to the higher quality lens, if that’s the case and it has got the multi coated lens I wouldn’t recommend it with the pard and I’d be tempted to look at the Nikon
  10. I’ll have a look at that mate, cheers, I’ll join just to have a look at what’s for sale, I stay out of the general forum on here, if I want to listen to people giving there pointless opinions on pointless sh*t nobody really has any interest in I’ll pop round and have a cup of tea with my old Mam and her mates ? they can talk sh*t for England ?
  11. I think it’s the coatings on the lens that are different, the scope that’s on my .243 works really well in low light, I think the cheaper vortex scopes don’t have the same coating on the lens so would work better with the pard
  12. I was wrong on that Dave it was a 4-16x50
  13. This is a little cracker, the glass isn’t as high quality as what’s in mine ( not coated the same ) so it should be ok with the pard, if you have the time go on uttings web site, the have a very big selection of scopes ?
  14. It up to you if you tell people how you spend your sundays ?
  15. What sites that on mate, I was looking on free-ads last night and someone is selling a hw95 for £150 with hawke scope but it has been rapped in camo tape and I would of thought the only reason you would do that is it’s a bit battered
  16. This is similar to the email I was sent, it seems to be getting sorted in an arse about way, it’s just a shame NE were aware of this before they pulled the GL and were not asked to do so
  17. Yes, I was wanting one for the .243, I didn’t get one in the end as the image wasn’t the clearest and I would of thought it would be worse in darkness, I’ve looked through one fitted to an MTC scope and the image was Chrystal clear
  18. Thanks for that, I’ll have to look a bit more into it, I suppose at least buying new you know what your getting
  19. It will be used for shooting ferrels and rats in the farm sheds, so it needs to be capable of that, I don’t want to spend a fortune, a couple of hundred quid at most,I looked at them and was shocked at the price of a new one, I didn’t pay that for my rimfires against the price of a springer and my .243 was cheaper than a pcp
  20. I like the look of the hw80 and the 99, I didn’t realise they were handed stock, I just assumed they would be ambidextrous, I shoot wonky lefty
  21. I’ve been looking on the ad sites and the likes and £150 is just a ruff spend guide, mainly I have no idea what I’m looking at, show me a .243 or .308 and I can hold my own, when I had air rifles it was all webley and Diana
  22. Well I’ve never owned an air rifle since I was in my teens that I used for rats, now I’m off to the shooting show in a couple of weeks and was thinking of picking one up, as there’s always loads there for sale, I was thinking about a second hand springer around the 150 quid mark, what I’d like to know is what should I be looking for and is there good rifles to be had at that price or am I wasting my time
  23. I’d offer Rishi the job, that man talks a lot of sense and is willing to listen to both sides
