I just watched it on the news and he definitely said about injecting bleach. Perhaps its to thin out some of the population. The ones who might be claiming benefits ect. RATS Faulty. !! Eating the nuts if you please.!!! We've had Roland out on our back lawn and measures have had to be implemented. I had a thread running about a week ago. I can't shoot them because of the angle down or backstop issues. I would but I can't. I've put two traps out and accounted for two Rolands and two mickies. They ain't really interested in the bacon rind and peanut butter but for some reason but they are out on the grass. I have no idea what they are eating on the lawn. You might get it but don't get your hopes up. Any cartridge of standard shot will have exactly the same effect as slug at humane dispatch distance. You go and get a chunk of say 19mm ply board and shoot ( from an angle to avoid ricochet ) and fire at it from a distance that you might have to dispatch whatever you are contemplating dispatching and see the effect. Just for interest what are you intending to dispatch ? Ps. You're can always apply you might get the allowance. No harm in asking.

Ive just been outside (9pm.....) and watched a load go over. To start off with I went out in the front garden and watched for a while but even though it is as dead as 3am I felt like a bit of a weirdo standing out there with a pair of Leicas. I just did a speed test check and my Internet download speed is about 35 mbps, Normally it is around 75 mbps .!!! Saying that when we were with BT we used to get around 6...8 if the wind was in the right direction. I have had odd connection problems getting on the site for several weeks on and off.

Well that's ok . It's his land and it's worth it to you. Generally you can't even get through to plod and when you do they aint got a clue about what your on about or where the ground is. I cannot understand your meak compliant attitude. If matey keeps phoning plod let them come out. After a while they'll get fed up with it and go and have a word in his ear. If you are out there on private land doing a lawful thing then you should ask for a senior officer to contact you and then ask him to stop this violation of your lawful rights.. This is the sort of nonsense expounded by basic. Some even say that you must. The reality is that it you spend an hour or more trying to get through to a plod who probably doesn't know what your talking about and eventually when you get out in the field and some do gooder or anti rings plod and even though you've notifed them they are still bound to respond. The answer is to get a few photo copies of your cert AND JUST AS IMPORTANT a copy of your written permission to be where you are using the gun that you've been authorised to use. Yep, we're with you there brother. We've come across several strange experiences whilst out shooting. There was the time when we were out lamping the harvest fields for rabbits and we swung up into an uphill wooded cutaway into a cut field. There was this couple in a convertible and she had her ankles up over the windscreen. We sort of sat there for a few seconds sort of stunned. The lamper did his duty and lamped them up. This is one question that doesn't seem to have an obvious answer. We've lived here for many years and we've never had any evidence of any sort of rodent show at all. Roland aint feared of terrier.! next door has an aggressive little bugger but I've seen two Roland's on their lawn this morning. when he went out there they shot off in the hedge. I've got it set against the shed wall on one side with the back end of the trap up against a fece post and another brick on this side so that it encourages him to approach from the food end. He is getting in the right place but somehow the clever bugger realises that this situation is dangerous and he is really flighty. I wait patently. Roland and mate have arrived in our garden and I saw two in next doors. We have never had rodent problems here before. I have set up a normal wire over mouse type trap .. a bigger rat size one. I also have a mesh tunnel box type which I am going to put out tonight. I have watched roland on cctv and it is VERY ,VERY CAUTIOUS AND WARY. IT HAS FIRED THE TRAP ONCE BUT DIDNT GET CAUGHT. the trap is super lite on the trigger and is coming there and removing odd bits of seed but isn't going for the bacon fat on the trigger which I have fixed with a twist of fuse wire so it can't be gotten off o
