Just because people go abroad you don't have to get drunk and make a bloody exhibition of yourself. People want different things out of their time. I've got a friend who worked hard all the time all year. His idea of a holiday was to go all inclusive. The kids did their own thing at the kids club. He and the Mrs soaked up the sun by the pool in the morning, then he'd have a few drinks , lunch, more sun and more booze, dinner, more booze, watch the crap entertainment, bed and knock the back of of the Mrs. Ditto for every day. He didn't want to speak to anyone, he didnt read a paper or

By the time any of this is even thought about being stabilized the season will be pretty much over. To get the infrastructure up and running it will take a long time. Would I like to go ,,,,,;;;;;; hmmmm, not sure. Lots of angles to consider. It all depends on what you want out of a holiday in ESPANIA. Life has changed. As little as two weeks.? Save up.?....... make a cnut of emselves in Spain for 2 weeks a year.....? .How is this calibrated.?.. in your opinion? Your a bloody happy Harry aren't you. I am part of the 60% of the population who happily to make a c**t

I have a brother and a sister who have both had the virus. Brother spent more than a week in hospital on oxygen so I know how bad it is if you get it, but for the majority you don't get it or if you do the symptoms are very mild and you might not even know that you have been exposed. One of my daughters is a staff nurse in a major hospital and because all medical work has been suspended they have so many staff that aren't specifically trained they are sending staff home early because they are tripping over one another. There is a higher ratio of staff of 1 to 1 than patients. ( these are n

The vast majority of the post on this thread have been either aggressive or pretty morbidly depressing. I've been out to Tesco doing the shopping and out on the land , road and footpaths and yes there are more people out walking, a lot that I have never seen but but everyone has been thoughtful about distance even holding back at styles and gates and mind fully putting up a hand of hello from people that I don't know. At the supermarket there was no agro and it was like a conga conveyor belt of people. The only stupid thing that I have seen is the bloke taking his young son to see his gr

Consider this. ...... Do you know anyone who actively has corona virus that you could obtain an infected sample from without contracting it yourself.? How would you get this infected sample to the proposed victim and get the sample into them before the sample becomes inactive.? Some /the Great majority of people who are subjected to this virus have no illness at all. It would be a bugger to try to infect another person for personal gain and they don't have any problem but you get it and keel over !.! I don't think that your idea has a great deal of thought out strategy to it. And don'

I fancy loading 410 slugs. WHAT !! You can't do that. You wicked wicked fellow you. You'll have kwis on your case. Cruellty to slugs. An offence under the countryside and wildlife acts if you please. I suppose that you want to reduce gutting time. Shoot and gut in one operation.

Hmm.?. I blame it on BREXIT. (Anyone remember BREXIT ??) Covid 19.? Middle aged boredom. Or flange fever. ?????. Go on don't mess about with a mouse gun. Treat yourself to a new good quality 28. It's amazing how it chops stuff down. Go on you know that you want one more than a mouse gun.

OR, F.E.S ...... Folkstone Engineering Supplies. He has a web page. He carries all sorts of stuff for 410 ..and others. He is quite a decent bloke to deal with. Personally I can't see the attraction of the 410. 28 bore yes.

Svc & fac renewal in the covid 19 time

Because I am confined to barracks along with everyone else, I don't have a requirement for thousands of rounds but should I so wish, I could manufacturer quantities of both rifle and shotgun ammunition. I ain't doing much mileage at all and the cars sit outside mostly redundant now so don't need much petrol. -

Knock the bugger over and plant it on a bend in the road . Preferably a blind bend . Run over it a few times and let traffic do the rest. = unfortunate road casualty that tried to intercept a passing lorry. It's strange how cats always seem to get run over trying to intercept vehicles. Shame really but there you go. It is what it is. -
Svc & fac renewal in the covid 19 time

Because of the current situation I suppose that it doesn't make much difference if plod is to issue section 7's although it will duplicate their workload and paperwork . After all we can't use our guns to go to clays or go to replenish the ammunition or to drive any distance to shoot and its a bit of a grey area as to what crop protection / sport shooting is. My rifle club has suspended operations and the Kent summer shooting competitions have all been scrapped. I don't suppose they could do much about setting up a trap on your own land and shooting clays. I expect some do gooder Ralph wo -

That's a bit naughty. ! 03.04 !! Why does plod act like a pack of Muppets. How is it nessessary to act like that. I bet that it was used as a training exercise. The poor woman and kids. Probably came in smashing the door in, shouting and hollering like a pack of cowboys. Down The road from me The other year a woman had an abusive boyfriend get into her house. The neighbour rang plod upon hearing shouting and screaming. Three quarters of an hour later a couple of spotty schoolboys turned up and firstly sat out in the road in their (our) car. Eventually they stood out in the road in the dri -

What U Torkin bout. Do you mean that I am correct, or do you mean the rapier like word use.? I blame it on predictive text input and BREXIT. Anyone remember BREXIT.? But every time I go to se a doctor about dragging my arse along the ground or the dry skin on my toe I see a different one. Although I am allocated to a doctor, if he was asked about me he would probably say "WHO, Never heard of the blighter".! This is where our so called voices of the shooting community are deafeningly silent. The all maintain that they are communicating at the highest level but if that's the ca -

Is that the best that's available. ? What a load of meally mouthed bollocks. That is about how effective basic are. All that is, is just like a mouthpiece of some small local newspaper. As soon as I hear or read about "we are calling for" it means that we have no influence at all. Total useless nonsense. It's not a representative of the shooting comunkty at all. It's just a sponging leach on the shooting comunity. Takes your money and does nothing. Basically directing anyone to the local plod page. They accept anything that plod does without question. And the sheep follow meakly to -
RAIN !! Naah. a month ago half the country was under water and hoses were flooded out by overflowing rivers . It's strange that every year we'd have a week of hot weather and some people would moan and groan about hot it was and that they couldn't cope. I used to remind them that they had months of rain, cold, frost ,snow. high winds and all the damage , upheaval and cost of insurance, heating and short days. Some sort of agreed but how those in Scotland cope good only knows. Roll on global warming and BBQ days.
-
The government has banned BBQ 's ??. And taking your shirt off . And eating iced cream. Anyone caught drinking alcohol will have it confiscated and taken to the local plod station for the Christmas piss up.

There is nothing wrong in wearing a mask but do not Labour under any illusion that any mask is a way of avoiding this illness being transmitted to or from you. Viruses are about one tenth the size of a bacteria cell and as such will pass through the mask or more likely through any gaps. Everyone's face is different and General masks don't fit. You can't wear a mask all the time. Not only that but there is the transmission by contact. The only way to stop getting this is to keep your distance wash hands frequently and don't touch your mouth or face. The medics are in situations of higher

Thanks for the thought. Both of them have had it real bad. Brother was on oxygen the day before yesterday but sent home today .? He is still in a bad way and has been told that he can't stay on his own.? He is moving in with a lady friend who is going to look after him for a while to get him back up. Sister is also in a bad way but paramedics had a look the other day at 2AM.!? and said that she had probably got over the worst of it and that she had to stay at home. Both of them have been on antibiotics to stop it turning into pneumonia. Both of them have said that they don't expect to
-
How is that going to help.? You got to be strong when you are needed in a time of trouble.
-
Both my brother and sister have had it. Brother has been on oxygen for over a week. Both of them have been absolutely flattened by it. Both of them have said that they don't think that they will survive. Brother said that he only has been able to breathe in small little gasps and it feels like boiling water has been poured down his throat and he has eaten broken glass. Not good.

My Mrs somtimes has that effect on me.?

?????? Masks ????. Would tying an old sock around your neck stuffed with onions and garlic suffice, or what about pissing on the sock and tying that round your face work.? It worked in the gas attacks in the first world war. ?????. Masks are ingrained in some south east asian countries and have been for decades because of air pollution but they won't specifically stop viruses. There's no harm in wearing them though but just keep a couple of paces away and wash your hands.

I find it quite refreshing that I'm not the only one who holds a similar opinion. I find that basic talk like a load of politicians. They speak but they don't say a lot. In fact it's all a load of nonsense. They just don't actually do anything much at all. Selling raffle tickets, setting up courses for dsc and how to shoot pigeons are just set up to make money out of the shooting public. I went on marches in London about hunting with hounds. Did that do anything. .. Naah. Did the gov take any notice of basic.? Naah..Did the gov take any notice of basic in regard to the massive backlog of
