Just another quick question lads. Im applying for an fac air rifle in my renewal. Do i need to specify a sound moderator for this or is it part and parcel of a pcp and therefore not needing a slot? Thanks

Lads, got a renewal coming up very shortly, and i want to add a shotgun. Do need to stipulate whether i want a Semi auto or a pump action on the form or can i simply say fac shotgun? Im 90% sure i want a semi but i want a play with a pump first. Cheers in advance

if your on FB have a look at "down to earth digs", run by a lad called kieron corbett. Ive been on a few in the past, dont get to many now as i need to work most days. Hes a top fella and has a good gang of lads that go too. The digs are mainly around the Pickering area which has some good history.

Haha. Good story that LoJ. I like little tales like that. I nearly made a knob of myself earlier today, got a call for mice so knocked on door and had a look round their kitchen at the droppings etc then went out to get my gear from my van and walked straight into the neighbours house. Luckily no-one was there. Hahaha -

As above, i avoid honey bees where possible . Had to destroy a nest day before yesterday mind, HBs in airbrick. Got a call, went to visit, big listed building. They had already had local beekeeper club round to try entice them out to no avail, left with no option. Dusted, waited 12 hrs then plugged.

I agree with above. He sounds happy with your work so far, buggering up his lawn could well negate all your hard work. Sometimes you just need to step back and say im not doing it.

Ive just been to a wasp job in a stable/garage this morning. 5 wasps nests and 4 of them working! all wasps no bees under one roof! one the size of a tennis ball, two football size and two bigger.

Bees were in the insulation. Wasps nest was a monster, and a new one from this year starting next to it

Did a job today bees in front half of attic, wasps in the back. That doesnt happen often.

Ive three water barrels that run into each other. In the last one i put a bucket of road salt from the yellow grit bins and left it overnight. Stirred it next day and been watering down the sides of my allotment with the salty water, so far not a single slug or snail touched my cabbages.
