    Im at the other end of the spectrum, Im looking nw for some NV and roughly had it down to choosing between these two. I was erring towards the photon because it can be used as a day scope.

Best thing I ever did. I tell them it will be the initial visit plus one possibly two more visits 99% of the time. Im a molecatcher turned pesty and very good at catching moles and the customer is virtually always over the moon. Ive seen pestys turned molecatchers though that couldnt catch a cold never mind a mole, they couldnt do it. As for being in my interest not to catch quickly, no. Im no

    This was the reason I changed my pricing policy. I used to charge £X for catching the mole/s but on third and "final" visit was casually told there was some activity near the tennis courts which meant 2/3 more visits and my profit totally gone. Now i charge for initial set up and X per visit so I can happily go back as many times as they want

    Lads, im looking for a decent NV scope. I bought one of the set ups from ebay last year with the small screen that connects up and although it works great, i arent keen on the wires etc so im looking for a dedicated scope. It will be for a 22lr primarily for rabbits but also for ratting with an air rifle. Ive a lowly budget of around £300 and the scope needs to work in daylight too. Ive been looking for a yukon photon as they are the only ones i know, Im really not up to spec on these scopes at all. Any other makes i should be looking for? Thanks in advance trappa

    I've gone from eleys to Winchester and am very happy. As above, eleys are waxy, and I had a bad batch which put me right off but it's what your rifle likes best, not us.

    I use eleys and Winchester too Ian. I swore by eleys until i got what i think was a bad batch and switched to winnys and unless I get a bad batch again im not switching back.

    Thing is if you have 20m electric vehicles in the UK, you're going to require a lot of charging. Where does the power come from? God knows Chris, like I say, there needs to be some progress. I think electricity storage is the biggie. We can harness wind, tide and solar power pretty effectively but its the storing it that we havent got the hang of. Hopefully itll all come good

    Theorhetically its a good thing. There just needs to be some progress in the electric motor holding charge/further mileage by some leaps and bounds or it aint gonna work.

    Met chris kamara in kings cross train station on way home from a match, he was a top fella. Met john wilson while fishing in the gambia, he was a nice bloke.
