  1. Really impresses me, bow hunting. Would love to get into it properly if it was ever made legal.
  2. Thanks for that, I must admit the amount of times I've emptied wet bait out of boxes should tell me not to even bother buying these boxes..I supposed familiarity is the only reason. So.. whats the alternative at a decent price that is better ? The AF rat box from killgerm is quite large and the AF Tunnel have not been very popular with our team,Never seem to get good bait takes with them at bait points where a simple SX one box has worked ( Don't ask me why I only know what I see ).I quite like the look of the AF Atom box so if anyone is using them ,Could you let me know if they are ok ?
  3. Mate, im just lucky enough to live where its riddled with them thats all, Im nothing special. Plus because its riddled there is no chance of charging what others in certain areas do.

    Brilliant fat ferret!!!
  5. One of the best centrehalfs boro had. Him and southgate made a great pair. Shame
  6. I saw this earlier on the news. Bloke is an absolute first class prick and wants a fooking kicking, obnoxious arrgant twat he is - but i agree with him on shooting BoP and rare birds in Malta. Its just not on.
  7. I use killgerm but just had a catalogue from 1env and it looks spot on, i know they have some good deals now and again. That mesto S/S sprayer looks pretty good for the price that they are championing plus a bottle of insecticide thrown in. Thing with killgerm is they have a brilliant team. I had issues with a dr5 i bought and they had it collected and picked up/sent back, really couldnt fault them for that - maybe the rest do similar, i dont know, but what dealings ive had, killgerm are really good.
  8. Every time is different but ground/surface as much as anything gravy. Im no expert but those proculls look like they are similar to kanias and want to be placed vertically on a fence/ tree if possible. I think im going to have to buy one, keep me updated on your thoughts please mate.
  9. Winter im virtually full time now, theres a few on here the same i think. 8 thousand is a hellish amount, he must be literally getting up at sunrise and trapping till sunset every day.
  10. Just came across this article while having a lazy hour. This lad was touching 8 thousand moles in a 12 month period, thats some going that. Just doing a rough guesstimate in my head i think i will be hitting 4 thousand a year, some years maybe 5, but certainly not 8, thats literally twice as many as me and i didnt think i could physically catch any more! Some going that!! https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=4&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwijm_Ss9KjTAhUBvBQKHWcKC4sQFgg2MAM&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dailymail.co.uk%2Fnews%2Farticle-1287507%
  11. Nope im the same as you but there is an app which helps from bayer. I really hate that side of PC work - beetles, grain storage pests etc. Actively try not to do them.
  12. At least they didnt break mid season earth thrower. And on the plus side, youve now two extra "tampers"
  13. Ill have a look at it, cheers iksopener
  14. Looking for a new scope for a .17 with a budget around the £150 - 200 mark, anything cheaper would be a bonus . Itll be going on my 22 rimmy at first but will be going on a .17 within the year. Im really out of the game as far as scopes are concerned, could do with a little help and info, cheers boys.
  15. Never heard of her, but looking at the pics ive done a lot worse. A lot worse...........
  16. Its solid as feck bud, last a lifetime and then some. Ive used it hard (really hard)for a good three or four year so far. Got cheaper before and they bust in a season. My lad leaves school next year and im hoping he will take over the mole trapping donkey work on farms, will get him one straight away. I cant be arsed arguing and biting over which trowel is the best and which are overpriced. When you know something is bang on you just know.
  17. I caught a weasel years ago. Only once. Pre-mobile phones so didnt get a pic.
  18. Same thing everywhere mate, just gotta ignore it. This place is the same. Newbies asking the same questions, newbies telling everyone how to trap like a pro after catching two moles and a squirrel. Im guilty of putting up 'moles caught' pics up simply cos for five months of the year im virtually a full time mole trapper. Just gotta see through the bullshit i reckon. Haha
  19. It winds me up earth thrower , some of those molecatching groups where everyone is a "legend in their own head" so i avoid. Im in one and only one pest control group on FB and can hand on heart say that 90% of them are seriously good pestys, much better than i am (Urban pest control), so i just keep adding my tuppence worth and try to learn as much as i can.
  20. Never used one gravy, Ive two WCS traps which i really cant fault, but it does look a cracking trap. There are so many decent squirrel options now. Urban squirrel.........ye probably would try it. Then again, id try most things, it was only the year before last we had seagull on the barbie. Squirrel is a real nice meat, and the chances of it being poisoned are slim.
