Invoices,site Assessments,coshh Sheets Etc Etc

As phil said, keep it simple. The last time i used eight sheets I was wiping my arse...... -
Im a big believer in just going for it. If youve done a business plan and think that you can at worst make a living, at best make some serious money AND do something you enjoy than go for it. Your a long time in a wooden box.

I use the killgerm A4 treatment report that they sell, seems to have everything I want for a standard joband i try to keep everything as simple as possible. Saying that Im not the person to ask though, Im just going through the motions of trying to get contracts, something that ive never bothered with before so Im looking for paperwork help in that department too. Haha -
I thought that was obvious, but ok, fair enough
-
And while im there sit in garden and watch them to work out where they are getting in and then proof the hole. If they are climbing up overhanging branches, lop them.
-
Forget about the sonic devices, they dont work imo. Squirrel are relatively easy to catch so throw every trap you have at it (trap both the loft and the garden if they feed or are seen regularly there)as in a loft they are a major hazard. Bait with monkey nuts and chunks of corn on the cob. And as a post above, id defo shoot as many as you can on the quiet. Good luck!!

Good luck effortless, I like people trying to make something of themselves and it sounds a good little business. Wish you all the success in the world. -
Nice! (I think) haha, never seen one.

Think im gonna have to get one of these gadgets. Million dollar question is are they too complicated for a grumpy old luddite like myself?
-
No you wont have killed it by bashing the ground with your spade and no you wont use poison cos you cant. Think you need to either phone a decent local trapper up or persevere with the traps yourself, if youve been doing it on and off for 25 years you know the basics. Take your time is all i can suggest, and make sure your trap arms are free to spring.

I was at a rat job this morning and she paid me before i started. Kept telling her pay on completion but she was having none of it. Wish they were all like that. Ha ha.

I asked somewhere about this as well. Do you need decent wifi or internet to make the transaction?? I do a lot of work out in the sticks where theres little or no chance of internet. Theorhetically they seem perfect little items for getting paid.

So, Tell Us, What Are Ye All At In The Veg Garden?
trappa replied to JohnGalway's topic in Living Off The Land & Game Cooking
Ive got my onions and potatoes in (charlottes). Bought my peas but havent planted yet as i suspect frosts will keep coming yet and ordered my spring cabbage. -
I was just trying to get the point across that 20 traps isnt a lot earth thrower. On a sheep farm say, where grass is down to the bone and the soil is good, he could set 20 traps within 30 - 40 mins or so, and look like an amateur when there is still another hundred acre to go at and he shouts "£50 please" then packs his bags and buggers off back home. Then again, if the grass is long, or ground is difficult, 20 traps could take a couple of hours. Gravy if you read this, is there not someone local on here within driving distance you could lend some traps off?

I just watched The killings of tony blair. fookin horrible tw@t. Worthy of an hour of your time and makes you wonder if blair should have been locked up instead of blackman
-
Its made my weekend this fella is out of jail. Really pleased for him. Looks like be wont be short of a bob or two as well, talks of a book and a film with Tom Hardy playing marine blackman. Excellent news.

Katchum. £15 an hour i charge for farmland. Vast majority of my work is within 30 minutes drive too which is nice.
-
Mate 20 traps isnt a lot tbh, you could set them in half an hour if the ground is good and that might well not even cover one field.
-
Few around last week but was snow and sleet and hailstones yesterday so might have knocked it back a bit
-
It would all depend on how much land is involved at the farm tbh. I charge by the hour to avoid any arguments and an absolute minimum of £45 a visit. Its impossible to say if its a good price or your going to regret saying £50 mate.
