    My pal had a go on same pond I fish he was impressed with this fish his biggest one to date

    Yeah Ouse is really good for big depends which book and stretches u have I’ve got Leeds book I do above aldwalk bridge and Newton only couple miles down river a lot of lads fishing for barbel with pellets on there now getting plenty nice double figure fish but I’ve heard a few stories of cats coming out when there fishing as there fishing the heavier gear This one from newton on Ouse

    Ha finally after fishing a pond for two years finally got myself a nice little eel to be proud of best one I’ve ever had got to have been 5 if not a little more ?

    My old man has molds for lots of sizes of lead fishing weights (car boot buy from years ago) from quarter ounce to to sea fishing ones with wire prongs that dig into sand to anchor to bottom don’t think I’ve had to buy any from a shop ever I collect little scraps of lead off scaffold and take all the bits to him he has a little pile of scrap lead In garden he even has a moldfor 28g lures some he leaves plain and some he paints up then sprays lacker on them to they don’t lose there shine

    I’ve knocked a couple of new pegs in my local pond while I’ve been participating in my daily exercise with dog can’t wait to get a rod in water been throwing bread in watching decent fish rise and fuming I can’t put a line in????

    I live five mins drive from Bramham not that many lads local to here with running dogs anymore but know a few lads capable of doing that just to save there skin no second thought for poor dog or where it ends up boils my blood don’t deserve a hamster let alone a dog

    Do u carry a firearm with you when out with terriers for self protection from other animals that might eat dogs or you for that matter and have u had any close call with ie ? big ? or something else

    I spoke to vet today he hasn’t done it for about 5/6 years now he used to do it for couple of ferret breeders but said he wouldn’t feel confident as it’s been so long hopefully u get sorted

    Oakwood vets in Leeds do it I’ve take my terrier bitch there had old bitch pts there last year Indian guy whose the vet but decent guy

    My lad been given a couple off one of my pals he enjoys shooting rats with air gun let’s see if I can get him out of house having a go at this
