    My mate been wanting to let his pup see some rats so went for a walk down side of river aire for a couple hour lost more than we caught as cover still quite high but managed to nail five pup showed plenty of interest and had a couple of rags

    Found this yesterday in pond where I caught my last good eel and fish for tench I would love to know who had set it few foreigners fish here and couple local lads persuaded one to release A large tench he was dropping into a bag to take home for tea couple of nights ago why can’t they just catch and release instead of eating ??????

    Tried them a few times with no luck old man said they excellent bait for big eels and perch

    Pond is full of weed and getting worse weekly need to pull a bit out really but been up twice to clear couple of pegs and every time there’s other people fishing either in those pegs or close by so not fair to disturb there swims .rivers open up soon so I’ll be on them shortly
