my first and only lurcher first cross was supriseingly quick to say he had flat feet he’s been gone a good 12 years now thieves took him out of kennel and left terrier pup in run next to him that was last dog that lived outside my house -
Came to yard with lad again ten minutes here 1 nil to him

Finally got round to bringing lad up to have a go at rats in yard brought tinned sardines in oil mushed up into a soup so they can’t run off with bait tonight hopefully he can whack a few

Sat in garden enjoying sun this little bugger decided to drop off garden fence in front of dog laid six foot away safe to say he didn’t make it out

Got it about 3 months ago for my lad bought a new spring for it bumped power up abit . Old man got one for his webley.22 sure he said they were called ox springs been knocking a couple off every time we go with air guns

Terrier always shows plenty of interest in yard at work so thought I’d have a hour or so with lads bsa 177 and tin of sweetcorn shot six only dropped two on spot others made it back through metal fence saw plenty running about as put bait in few areas defo gonna have to have a late one with lad on night up there and see what we can knock off

Beats me at everything if it’s fishing or shooting rats at least he still enjoys coming out with me but I think the girls r starting to lure him away now

Got bored about lunchtime so took lad for a spin on river one bite one fish as usual the lad won

Only crazy guys who dogs r to way totough for everything else feed them after midnight

You need to start the pups on gismos but be hard for only 3 dogs to tackle one. this beast took four dogs out before they pinned it

I’m same once young dog is back at your feet I find myself shouting old bitch she’s not gonna come running though ? at least it enjoyed some sofa time with you and had a good long life plenty good memories for you

Always preferred a bitch to work think that’s just my preference couldn’t keep both I’d end up pulling what Little hair I had out left when girls in sesaon

Had to do the worst job and take old bitch to vets as she started to suffer she had a couple of days of pamper at my old dears then out for one last walk down a hedge line flushed a pheasant so at least she had fun

I remember a cattle farm lifting with rats must have killed litteraly thousands there that’s the only place we nailed white rats even then only two or three out of everyone we caught

Me and old man went on wharfe for couple hours after chub couple six inchers then dad got a knock struck said think it’s a chub defo didn’t think this would take four maggots on swim feeder
