Pup managed it’s first solo squirrel this evening while on a walk put couple rabbits out and bolted 2 ?out of a patch of thick cover with its mum the second one that tried sitting tight she was right on its arse as it broke and ran down a hedgeline ?

I might have been guilty of dropping rabbits in other areas in my younger days but same thought as u don’t think rabbits gonna bounce back but hopefully I’ll be proven wrong

Used to be everywhere near me now you lucky if dogs put one up out of cover a lot of land around me is having new houseing estates and roads built on them I’ll just keep plodding on and when the dogs kick up a fuss in cover know it’s something u wish u found to ground instead of laid up on top?

When u say goldie do u mean eagle would have thought there would be to much size difference between the 2 types more chance of bigger one making a meal of the Harris hawk but looks a nice bird

Going east coast in Yorkshire probably around spurnhead or Humber on hull side only a hour away to try for cod had loads before but never a double my dad knows some good spots all depends on the tides and how much weed in the water but he keeps a eye on fishing forums. will do good just to get him out of house as he turning into a hermit and just sitting in front of tele all day and have to keep dragging him out or he won’t go anywhere it’s just not healthy for him not done boat fishing in uk waters every time we go abroad I do a couple of boat trips with my lad we done plenty small tuna my

Go for double figure cod from shore with old man and makos/blues off dads mates boat down Cornwall only thing they kept hooking into tuna this year obviously returned alive to swim another day and hopefully a trip to Ebro for some large cats if this Covid bollocks sorts itself out

Young dog coming on very well in my eyes not had as much fur in her mouth as I’d have liked but Flying through cover running empty pipes after her dam been through them very eager to go ground but don’t think she quite ready yet don’t want her taking any punishment till she mature enough still quite puppish in her manners but will definitely get there hopefully get some good days after shoots r done lad who has her sire is wanting to see if she got the goods below when the time is right as he asked if I would mind doing a repeat mating as has always liked my older bitch she quarter boarder

Had a hour on aire with my dad to get him out of house as he had a spell in hospital for a op I got 4 my dad blanked absolutely freezing as well

Yeah young one is forth generation that is bred down from my first terrier what I got as a 12 year old as a birthday present from my uncle I breed one litter from each bitch and wife and kids pick which one we keep don’t have a pic of first dog he was lakie/Russel mix

How many lads seen seals in there swim while fishing was at Ulleskelf this afternoon for couple hours the river is tidal there and heard rumours that one was knocking about sat watching rods after a barbel and see what I think is a log floating down my side of river just upstream from me turns out it’s a seal chomping down on a nice sized bream floated down river with its dinner not 20ft out from me not bothered about me in the slightest got a couple of short videos of it on way past less than a hour later it swims upstream of me actually under my rods not in slightest bit afraid if someone
