  1. Good shot. Interesting shape to that pellet. Did it go through the skull both sides? U.
  2. A few years ago I had a xl tac model. Just before gamo got involved. I was made redundant and there was a local gamedealer still in these parts. That little rifle earned me alot of cash then! U.
  3. Sad, a super sport don't seem old to me. I had one when they came out! The barrel can be bent back easily in a vice. U.
  4. Better than Llandudno :-( Good for you :-).
  5. The only thing wrong is you let it and it's buddies fly off ! Evil things :-(
  6. That's good then. I have to get much closer! U.
  7. Always glad to see dead crows. Well done :-)
  8. Long long day. Up at 5:30, granddaughter! Walk dog. Take Granny and grandchild to Llandudno! Get home and phone rings! Local gamekeeper seen a fox going into a wood. I arrive 1/2 hour later and start calling. An hour later a dog fox walks past. Jess alerted me by being fixed on something behind me! Grabbed the camera and got back to the car just dodging a storm! Knackered zzzz U.
  9. 6.5 Swede barrels last longer than 243. A consideration for range shooting. Zzzz zzz
  10. Nope, just different. Not wrong or less in any way. Apart from what can be written on paper. In the real world both examples in this case are subject to gravity, wind and the biggest let down of all, human error. Oh by the way, I did, when a youngster some of my longest shots ever with a 243. Owned three, still don't like it. It's good, just don't like it. Means nothing really. U.
  11. Lol yes. I invented a new country next to Afghanistan lol.
  12. I went from .243 to the 6.5x55 in my opinion the best move I've made for a long while in shooting. Really? I cant imagine why, the .243 is faster, flatter shooting, and in my opinion a better one shot killer than the Swede will ever be, yes you can shoot heavier bullets in the Swede, but and it is a big but, at the expense of point and shoot capability, true at a hundred yards or so it matters not, but start pushing 250-300 yards and the Swede is like a .22 air rifle compared to a .177, fine if you know your holdover points, but for me the .243 wins hands down everytime.Ahh grasshopper, ever
  13. Re the hair, I thought you had two dogs and the bedlington was behind you :-/ U.
  14. The .223" bore thing is a mute point. I loaded .224" bullets for a .223" bore with no issues at all. I agree with everything else you said. U.
  15. Just where is it bent? Straighten it! U.
