    Between the rear scope mount and scope. Wrong. The mount/rail fixed to the rifle needs shimming at the rear. Or material removed from the front of the rail. I only recommend shimming scope rings to alter the first cross over distance. Any large adjustment is made at the rifle junction with the sight mounting system. U.

    Lol, I was out foxing.....with a flintlock!I thought that was you. I'm sure I've read your posts somewhere else about hunting with a flintlock.Yep, not many fools like me about! Thats proper gangster sh*t mate You could perhaps be one of the best shot on THL... you use iron sights more than anyone, not to mention a f'kin flintlock rifle. It must kick like a mule. Nice post that. Mate, it is a smoothbore and I load it with shot.It don't recoil bad, black powder sounds worse than it is, it is quite soft really. If it was not the air gun spot I would add pictures. U.

    I have mixed feelings about using a lurcher as a retriever, not saying there is anything wrong with it, having worked lurchers for some years, I cant help feeling the dog should be catching the rabbit, rather than just fetching it, lamping with a good dog is one of the most exciting forms of rabbit hunting possible, nice beddy whippet by the way op.I understand that completely.This little bitch has ended with a shooting man though and it is quite clear she is adapting to working with a gun!     Nothing. Raise the back of the mount that screws to the top of the receiver. A plastic bottle cut and shaped shim should do it. U.
