  3. I have been ruminating on the hunting versus sniping thought, if I understand what your saying is that our skills in staulking have to be better to get within range to get a humane kill with open sights. I like that idea. Thanks Underdog. , Yes, well kind of, we have to be b quite close with air guns with the scopes but air guns and scopes have become so cumbersome most need to use sticks or lie down. I have no longer got rifles that i shot foxes with to 300 yards just my little WMR now and it still gets them. I just get closer and it is more exciting. Nothing wrong with any way. I jus

  18. Between the rear scope mount and scope.Wrong.The mount/rail fixed to the rifle needs shimming at the rear. Or material removed from the front of the rail. I only recommend shimming scope rings to alter the first cross over distance. Any large adjustment is made at the rifle junction with the sight mounting system. U. Right or wrong doesn't matter in this case, there is no way a 10/22 should need any shims to zero at circa 50 yards! In principle yes. Old tooling is probably to blame. Only ever owned one and handled others, worked on them and I find them over rated. That aside, the
