Good for her - it's nice to see kids interested in hunting ............ My daughter was 9 or 10 yrs old when she shot her first rabbit - she was so pleased with herself. Personally, I'd go with an adult sized PCP - some of the junior rifles, like the Ultra JSR only produce 6ftlb. And, I'd chose .177 for hunting as the pellets are faster and the trajectory is flatter at 12ftlb, giving easier accuracy. I watched one of those Brian Cox programs one night - he reckons it's more to do with time than distance. ......... he was saying that in an ever expanding universe, planets and civilisations will be coming and going and that it would be unlikely that 2 would exist in the same time and be capable of contacting each other. You might be able to get a test quite quick - one of the firms that we work with gave me a finger prick test last week for it. .......... it takes about a minute and, they reckon it's around 97% accurate.
