    One of my old customers went to Iceland and said that he tried that rotten shark 'delicacy'. He said it was feckin grim - apparently the taste and smell gets stuck in your senses for hours. He said it's right there every time you breathe in or sniff.

    I find that people are pretty shocking - a lot of fellas nowadays should be ashamed of themselves. My missus is one of the managers at our local Co-op. They're told to try to deter shoplifters but not intervene. She can't help herself, she sees it as though they're mugging her off by stealing on her shift. ........ They know all of the local faces - mostly junkies and a couple of foreigners. There's been a few times that she's been sworn at and threatened and played tug-of-war with a full basket by the exit but, no one ever steps in to help. Not the fellas

    I do like to swim in the sea and, I've always liked to go out quite far, where the water is calmer but, if I start to think of stuff like that that could be mooching about bellow me, it properly freaks me out. I read about Greenland sharks years ago - that lifespan is amazing and, I think they're a creature that deserves respect. ............ I still wouldn't want to be front row for that image though.

    Well, this is my Friday night as I'm off for the next 4 days. ........... I really fancied a steak so, I had a plain ol' fillet with Coleman's English mustard and some tiger loaf with proper butter and, a nice cold Henry Westons. Simple but satisfying.

    I did used to watch that 'Can't pay, we'll take it away' until there was an episode where they evicted a woman and her kids 1 week before Christmas. The horrible c**ts had no compassion whatsoever - it wouldn't have made a blind bit of difference for them to come back mid January. I don't know how they sleep at night. I'd love to see them visit the wrong house one day and, get punched all around the front yard for trying their tactics.

    You might struggle to get a Combro at the moment - I think they've ceased production for a while. You can buy an alignment tool to help set it up. ...... I always look down it and line it up by eye - I've never shot one yet ?

    Cheers Jimmy I hope your health improves quickly for you mate. In the mean time, I reckon a bit of competition shooting could be just the thing to keep your eye in ........ If it's the 97 that Si brought down here, that's one of the nicest springers I've ever shot. Hope you're all keeping well mate
