  1. That smaller one is contemplating his next move on the older one - I can see it, I had 2 brothers
  2. Yes, like a masked crusader with a strimmer. Of course not but, I do believe in taking care of your own.
  3. The tight little fecker - if it was an old boy that I'd known since I was a kid, I'd mow it for free when I could get round to it. I don't think kids today understand the value of a good reputation.
  4. f**k me, this brings back some memories. I only remembered it because I've just been ribbing a mate for an 18 hour kip on sleeping pills
  5. There is PDF instruction file that you can download. ....... I can't find a way to put it on here. It was one of the first results on Google when I searched for 'ATP90 mounts instructions'
  6. And, being an 80s kid, I give you my guilty pleasure - Kenny Loggins
  7. I did think about sending her out to graze the lawn but, I was in a good mood
  8. I do like like a country twang in my rock........
  9. I tried this German beer tonight. It's ok but, I think someone needs to have a word with the marketing department
  10. I never realise that they got that big - I knew they had some claws on them but, that's properly formidable. We've got red kites nesting where I work - they're not that big but, they are big and, surprisingly agile when they chase each other through the trees.
  11. It's an interesting subject and, those birds are gorgeous but, I reckon you'd be better having a chat with the bird lads. I imagine it's the kind of thing that needs mentoring.
  12. For as long as I can remember we've always headed south for our holidays - Somerset, Devon, Cornwall. Last year we went north, to the lake district - Coniston water was amazing. ........ I reckon the next few years are going to see us headed back that way
  13. We've got our little 'uns vegetarian mate staying over tonight so, I did them both quorn mince with tomatoes, red onion and chilli. .......... to be fair, it was quite nice - it's definitely not like regular mince though. It's softer, it cooks quicker and it soaks up more when cooking. It must have been ok - her mate's built like a broom handle and she ate it all. ......... I'll take that as a win
  14. He was one of my favourite comedians Joking aside, that was a good age and a nice life - RIP old chap
  15. Good - I hope it was a slow and painful ending.

Fair comment - I can't really comprehend holding a grudge like that. I suppose that why I tend to stay out of those conversations.

All of that trouble in Ireland seems a bit of a shame to me - essentially they're all the same people, living on the same bit of land but, they like to kick off at each other now and again. ..........from the outside, looking in, it seems mental (admittedly I don't much about it). And, what's all this 'peace wall' and 'peace gate' stuff? - talk about sugar coating it.
  18. You sound a lot like one of our mates. ........ He's a similar age and, lives in a nice sheltered housing place in Swindon - they cater for different folk. His place is a self contained flat. It's nice and quiet, he comes and goes as he pleases. The whole complext is in a nice area and, he's got good neighbours. Security is excellent. He's not there because he's incapable of looking after himself - he lives on his own and, it's what suits him. Good luck with it Keith
  19. The mother of all pasties (dinner last night) - lamb and veg. I could've done without the mash though.
  20. Nearly 4 grand for a mongrel I'd rather have a rescue dog and keep the change.
