  1. International peace day? Yeah right - good luck with that.
  2. Either way, it's horrible shit and best left alone.
  3. Nice one ..... Nothing more satisfying than watching a Magpie drop
  4. Wipe them all out dealers and junkies ive no sypathy for any of them.its a scummy game played by scummy people.ive no pity for that girl in the pic she chose to take it she could of chose not to take it. Agreed. The dealers are scum and, the junkies choose to start using. Why let them drain national resources when there's always paediatric units and old folk that are in genuine need. Everyone a hardliners.... until it's a loved one mixed up with such things. I've had loved ones mixed up in it. The consequences are devastating for everyone. It turns people into scum bags and causes misery
  5. Isn't that what Davy and Si are using on VHTV? ....... I could be wrong. Whatever is that they use, I'm sure I saw some details for it on one of their videos.

  7. Savage b*****ds. Of course it's a racist attack. Things like this and the way it is reported makes my blood boil. If that was my daughter, I shudder to think how I might retaliate.
  8. Good choice. Also, 'Paul' is very funny
  9. It really is a shame - I do like those Airwolfs. Personally, I think there's so much engineering and electronics going into them that a brand new one may well have settling in issues. I don't blame the rifle - it's Daystate letting it down. If they just accepted it back and readjusted it properly - How the customer wants - it could (should) be a world class rifle. Their kit isn't cheap so, it's only fair that their customers expect decent service. It's quite sad to see - the 2 Airwolfs that I had were both spot on, no issues at all. Hope you get it sorted.
  10. Nice shooting Si, Sounds like a good day Is it just the way the picture has been taken or, are those Hares massive? Also, are you not using the Wolf much anymore?
  11. Not yet mate. I've been getting decent groups off my knee and off my hand while bracing against something. I have a mono shooting stick - a cheep 1 legged thing. Because I like to stalk, I've been thinkg about taking that out and putting my wrist in the 'V' then resting the TX in my palm for the shot. Any tips are always welcome
  12. Cheers Phil, The sun shade does overhang the loading port but, it doesn't cause any problems. I've got the knack of loading it so, it's to thumb the pellet in without looking As far as tuning goes, on such a simple rifle, I really would advise you to go for it - strip it down and take a look I've replied to your post on the 'Tuning kits' thread. Springer tuning seems to be a funny ol' thing - not everyone wants the same thing from a tune so, part of it is figuring out exactly how you want your rifle to feel and perform. I'm no where near being an airgun tuner - getting my TX
  13. Cheers Mark. It feels like it's finally clicked for me. I've always liked this rifle - Now, I love it and I can't wait to get out with it ....... just need work to ease up a bit first
  14. They're really easy to do Phil All you need to do is take the scope and stock off. Then, holding the rifle by the barrel and underlever, put the back (trigger unit) onto something firm (with a cloth to protect the rifle) and push down a little. Then you should be able to loosen and remove the retaining bolt with your fingers. Then, the trigger unit, spring and piston can slide out. Nick (Tinbum) has done a YouTube video of this somewhere. I bought his TX200 MaxiPro kit. It comes with the short stroke extension, delrin top hat, spring guide, preload washers, spring grease and moly
  15. Af f***ing hell mate, I try so hard not to laugh at stuff like this ......... I nearly pissed me self at that post
  16. Cheers Si, Yes mate - they let me visit any time so, I'll have a good daytime mooch. I've had the HW100 there a couple of times in the dark but, I really fancy giving this TX a good go round the woods when it's light
  17. It loves FAPs. The Menace is a heavy scope but, I don't mind that, I quite like the weight on this set up. The balance point is about a hands width in front of the trigger. Also, the scope looks a lot longer because it's got the sunshade on at the moment.
  18. I've been adjusting and practicing with this for a while now. I've always wanted to hunt with it but, first, I wanted it running how like it and, I wanted to be confident in my abilities with it. It's a .22 TX200hc walnut with a Falcon Menace 4-14x44 ffp scope. The new paracord sling arrived a few days ago - this makes it very comfy to carry. The adjustable butt pad gives me perfect alignment. The insides have had a thorough strip and polish. It now runs with a longer, lightweight ally piston and, a Vmach seal that I've left just a little tight. I've fitted slip washers to each end o
  19. Ooh, stick a review up when it's done please ..... I could be tempted to send him mine.
  20. A perfect case in point Mark ........ You have your avatar pic showing a good bag from a days hunting but, under other circumstances, you risked your knackers on a fence to save 1 pigeon. We must confuse the shit out of those non-hunting types
  21. Like Toby says, I haven't seen a hedgehog for a long time. We used to see them walking around our estate and in peoples gardens when I was a kid. Nice pic btw
  22. Cheers for the comments I've often thought about the compassion shown by hunters. It certainly is an interesting thing. Maybe you have to have that mindset to be able to appreciate a sporting chance. I remember watching an old boy when I was a kid - he put his rifle down and untangled a small deer from a barbed wire fence. It kicked him during the struggle but, he got it out and watched it disappear. We often get birds flying into the shop at work. The big windows confuse them when they try to leave. We have to get them out because they'll set the alarms off all night. I've of
  23. When I'm out with the rifle I really enjoy hunting and, I enjoy eating what I've shot. But, recently, I've slowed the car to allow a squirrel to get out of the way and, I caught this chap at work......... He flew into where I work, did a few laps of the showroom, then stunned himself by slamming into the window while looking for the exit. I checked him over - wings, chest and head were all ok. Sure, I could have necked him and put him in the fridge but, to be honest, I didn't even think about that at the time. I took him outside and put him on the skip - within a few seconds he flew
  24. Next week It won't be back next week mate It will be shit hot when you get back, of that there is no doubt but, you ain't getting it back next week
