I can see your link Steg - it looks like a nice bit of land for ambushing. I'm always on here with a smartphone - can't be doing with all that pissing about with laptops and tablets - too much technology for me I add pics by changing the forum view to normal mode, instead of mobile. Then, under the dialogue box, I press 'more reply options'. Then, I press 'select file' - from here, I can chose a picture from my phones memory. I do have to crop them so that they meet the 500mb limit. Then, I press 'add selected file'. And that's it - this simpleton has added a pic

Sorry guys, I did have an A&M cylinder but, It was sold with the rifle. If you're considering buying new, I can definitely recommend them - they lighten the rifle and increase the shot count. They're well made. Also, Ady and Mandy are top people to deal with Atb

Nice shooting chaps Sounds like a good night, even if you 2 did hog the shots and didn't give LH much of a look-in ..... I've got to ask, what did happen to the lost rabbit?

Hi David, Those Bisley Magnums do seem to retain a lot of energy which, when hunting live quarry isn't a bad thing. However, under the circumstances you may find that a lighter pellet like Falcon Accuracy Plus or AA Express will deform more and stop quicker, reducing the chances of a pass through. They'll also have the added advantage of flattening out your trajectories a bit As far as hollow points go - I've tried a few of the usual suspects in a few different rifles. The only one that I could class as reliably accurate was the H&N Barracuda Hunter Extreme. At sub 12 power

do snares require a licence now ?? No license needed for snares but they do have to be legal...... It's worth doing some research if you're considering using them. For example - I think locking snares are illegal and, if used in Scotland, I believe they have to some kind of identifying mark?

Ha, I just checked your profile - it really is your birthday. Many happy returns mate. Hope you have a really good day All the best

Didn't dog ownership grow from domesticating wolves a long time ago?

if they were serious mate, lets be honest.. britan would be crushed.. You really think that? There are those countries that feel the need to make a show of what they have and, there are those that remain quietly confident. Don't be fooled by what you read in the press Joe. Great Britain is still very capable.

Most farmers/rural land owners are probably well used to firearms so, won't have a problem with their competent use. Has the land been cleared for firearms use? How's your fieldcraft? There are some very good blokes in the airgun section that have a lot of success on their permissions - they're always happy to share advice
-
No need to worry - that lot would all be sat on the bottom within 30mins if there was any serious f***ing about.

......... You could try these Just don't touch Jennies knockers

The missus had problems with pain in the arches of her feet a while ago - there's a splint thing that you can buy - you wear it while sleeping. She used them for a couple of weeks and, so far, no further issues.

Just had a quick look....... It seems that some Brocock pistols used an air cartridge system, mostly revolver types - apparently they could easily be adapted to fire a live cartridge so, had their classification changed around 2002/2003.

He looks well at home in there Mac - time to get some overtime in If I ever win the lottery, it'll be a Bowler Wildcat. I fell in love with these when I saw one on a dual carriageway in front of me - without slowing down, it turned left, over a kerb and absolutely flew across a field. I couldn't believe what I was seeing
-
Could it be one of the Brocock pistols? I think they were made S5 a while back. I don't know much about it - never really been into pistols.
-
Like I said before Pots........ oops, sorry....... Phil ...... let me know when you want them, I'll stick some in the post

The research I have done. I don't believe we have wood pigeons here in the states. From what I gather what we call pigeons are actually rock doves.....but we still call them pigeons I have never eaten one yet but I don't see why they would be any different than any other game bird.Yep, I've just had a look. I don't think you guys get Wood Pigeon. Also, it looks like the Rock Dove is what we call a Feral Pigeon or, a flying rat. By all means have fun shooting it but, don't eat it. Wood Pigeons generally live in trees and eat leaves and berries etc. Feral Pigeons live anywhere - overh
