  5. Thieving little b*****ds. I hope you find out who took I Jimmy.
  6. That 77 is a nice rifle - it'll be even nicer once you've had a go at the stock Jimmy The funny thing is, for a long rifle, I found standing shots easy with it. ....... I reckon that slender stock and the weight up front from the barrel and cocking lever helps to keep it stable. Now that I've got the Mercury Challenger that I've been looking for and, I've got to learn how to shoot the Beeman C1, the 77 would be used very rarely - better that it goes to someone that will appreciate it and use it properly
  7. Nice one Mark Nothing wrong with telling a slight porky to the land owner if it helps conservation
  8. I'd be well happy with that ....... The dog's growing well mate
  9. View Advert Falcon FN12 .22 ***Now sold *** Now that I've got the rifles that I always wanted, I'm reducing the collection a bit so, up for sale is my .22 Falcon FN12. It's the single shot version in a light hunter stock. It has the original quick fill silencer and, it comes with an adaptor and HW silencer that makes it very quiet. It also comes with the fill adaptor and an original green, fleece lined Falcon bag. It's all in excellent condition apart from 2 small parallel scratches on the back of the cheek piece. I
  10. Cheers Jimmy Sorry mate - it went a lot quicker than I thought it would
  11. Cheers Jeff They are cracking little scopes - I'm keeping the Vantage Max.
  12. Feckin wall plugs and big screws in a stock I'll be looking forward to seeing this one finished Jimmy
  13. View Advert *** Sold *** Hawke Vantage 3-12x44 sf and BKL 263 mounts As I'm reducing the amount of rifles that I currently own, I have a scope and mounts that are surplus to requirements. The scope is a Hawke Vantage 3-12x44 sf half mildot. It's a few months old and, has had an easy life on my FN12. It's in excellent condition and, comes boxed as new. This also comes with a 100mm screw in sun shade. Price: £110 The mounts are BKL 263 Matt black. These are double strap mounts for a 30mm tube. These are also in excellent condition and boxed as new.

  20. That's another victory .......... I told one of the girls at work that I would only tell her what's in it after she'd tried it. She's a funny fecker with food but, she tried it and liked it - Happy days ........ She even had a bit more after I told her it was squirrel.
  21. I can't think of a springer yet where they've let me down, in either calibre

    Jogging!

When I was young and fit, I liked running and I really could feel the endorphins kicking in. I did a lot of 10k road runs and 5k cross country. It did help to boost fitness for boxing. Nowadays it's hard work and, if I'm honest, it's just a feckin ball ache.
  23. Yes to both of these comments f**k them off straight away - they're just local council shysters hoping that you'll incriminate yourself. If you do decide to go - ask them for an independent solicitor before any interview takes place - I'll be amazed if they can provide one.
  24. Cheers mate That's got to be my favourite part about this game - I've usually got an idea for a recipe as soon as one's in the bag.
